Rated 4.0 If you go to Adventure World and you are a thrill seeker, Abyss is a must do. You won't regret it.

Review Criteria

Enjoyment Amazing

Forceful, fast, airtime-filled. Anything a coaster could ask for.

Effectiveness Very Good

I had high expectations for this ride and they were met

Intensity Very High

Mid-ride hill is full of airtime, strong g-forces at the first drop and the Immelmann.

Rider Comfort Very Good

At the front there is a little bit of headbanging, however in everything else Abyss is comfortable.

Pacing Good

Good length, but lost momentum after the Mid course brake run.

Theming/Storyline Very Good

Good theming, but there could have been more.

Upkeep/Presentation Amazing

The ride, being only a year old when I rode it, was in great condition.

Queue/Efficiency Amazing

Very fast loading, 4 trains, efficiency miles ahead of anywhere else in Australia.
