Arkham Asylum - Shock Therapy review by Santa07

Rated 3.5 It's a very fun thrill ride with great gforces, but can sometimes be a bit rough.

Review Criteria

Enjoyment Amazing

Definitely a fun ride. Is fast paced with lots of fun rollercoaster elements.

Effectiveness Very Good

Good for an SLC

Intensity Very High

Definitely extreme positive gforces through many of the inversions.

Rider Comfort Average

Definitely better than the lethal weapon harnesses but the harness is very very tight against your legs. A fairly strong rattle to the ride. It is an SLC after all.

Pacing Very Good

Theming/Storyline Very Good

Theming is definitely good inside the asylum, however the actual ride is pretty boringly themed. Storyline makes sense, moreso than before the VR was added.

Upkeep/Presentation Very Good

A bit rough sometimes, but it is maintained pretty well.

Queue/Efficiency Good

Only one train can create very long lines. A second train could make this ride's queue a lot quicker.
