Disneyland Monorail Overview
Monorail that runs in a loop, with stations at Tomorrowland and Downtown Disney.
The monorail was the first monorail in the USA.
The system has gone through a number of new rolling stock designs: in 2008 the Mk VII sets were introduced.
From the Tomorrowland station The route travels along the eastern edge of Disneyland, before heading outside of park boundaries, through the front of Disney's California Adventure, and to the Downtown Disney stop. The track then turns back towards Disneyland, crossing throug the plaza between the two parks, before rentering Disneyland. The monorail then completes a number of loops above Autopia, before curving around the Matterhorn, ariving back at Tomorrowland station.
