Drop Tower: Scream Zone Overview
Guests sit on an outward facing ring of seats arranged around a tower. The ring is lifted up up the tower. When it reaches the top it it is released, and freefalls to the ground, where magnetic brakes bring it to a smooth stop.
Originally the ride operated with a ring of seats that rotated on the trip upwards, giving guests a panoramic view of the park. This was later refitted with a wider diameter, non rotating ring with more seats in order to increase capacity.
