Sea Viper review by Richard

by Richard, 9 years ago
Rated 3.5 A good ride that was turned mediocre by the replacement of its original Arrow train with an awful vehicle from KumbacK Coasters. Its rebadge to Sea Viper from Corkscrew at the same time was a rather pointless exercise.

Review Criteria

Enjoyment Very Good

Simple, fun looping coaster that was always enjoyable.

Effectiveness Very Good

Intensity Medium

Rider Comfort

The change from Corkscrew to Sea Viper brought with it a new train that made this ride change from one of the smoothest to most painful coasters in Australia.

Pacing Very Good

Theming/Storyline Average

The change from Corkscrew to Sea Viper was a pointless exercise in rebranding and theming and only detracted from the simple presentation of the ride.

Upkeep/Presentation Very Good

Always kept in remarkable condition and every effort was made to keep the track free from rust, particularly when it was all-white as Corkscrew.

Queue/Efficiency Amazing

Simple, old-school style operations for most of the ride's life. Though it only had one train, this was more than sufficient for Sea World.
