Triple Vortex review by Richard

by Richard, 7 years ago
Rated 1.5 An interesting looking slide that ultimately has dull execution that results in a fairly nothing ride experience. The backwards rider's elbows banging into the fibreglass slide surface isn't a mild uncomfort. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Review Criteria

Enjoyment Average

Effectiveness Average

It fails as a "thrill" slide because of the stop/start motion.

Intensity Low

The three "vortex" elements serve no purpose other than to complete halt the riders momentum and reorient the riders.

Rider Comfort

Riders are face-to-face which means the front rider goes down forwards. The handle position means the backwards facing rider will repeatedly bang their elbows -- at speed -- on the hard slide surface.

Pacing

The "vortex" elements sap the ride of any semblance of pacing.

Upkeep/Presentation Very Good

Queue/Efficiency Good

Splash Factor Medium
