WindSeeker Overview
Guests would ride in pairs of seats arranged in a ring around a tower. The seats were lifted slowly to the top of the tower, a height of 30 stories, and the ride rotates, causing them to swing out. Essentially, it could be imagined as a more extreme version of a typical chairswings ride.
The ride was installed in 2011 and was closed in 2012 after frequent breakdowns. Despite modifications, the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration refused to allow the ride to reopen so it was relocated to Worlds of Fun.
