A few rides can be seen here, including Vortex, Celebration Swings, and Loggers Run.

Some of the skyline of California's Great America, including the Action Theatre, Vortex, Star Tower FireFall and Delta Flyer/Eagle's Flight.

...And then a kinked section of track brings you to the final brakes.

One last turn....

A quick ground hugging turn and it's into inversion number 2, a corkscrew.

After the high banked turn is a 360 degree helix that "threads the needle" through the loop.

After the loop is a high banked turn.

Inversion 1 is a vertical loop.

Trains are pulled to the top of a 27.7m high lift hill.

Ready to go...

The main entrance.

Riders literally stand up during the ride. A bike saddle goes between the legs to prevent riders from slipping out below. The harness and backrest can slide up and down to suit riders from tall to short, and is locked in place

Vortex was the second "stand up" coaster built by Bolliger & Mabillard

An overview of the ride.

After the corkscrew is a forceful helix over the surface of a lake, before you rise up and hit the final brakes.

The third and final inversion is a corkscrew.

...And over the loading station.
