Throughout the outdoor queue you get small glimpses of the coaster.
The ride is built in dense woodlands, so the layout is impossible to work out from ground level.
Vampire is a suspended coaster, where guests sit in cars that swing out wildly as the train negotiates turns.
Perhaps one of the most unique features is the queue, which runs along balconies, around the Forbidden Kingdom area.
The ride is a top spin, and currently the only ride at Chessington that turns you upside down. In some ways it could be thought of as the last big challenge for kids before they 'graduate' to Thorpe Park.
In some ways it is reminicent of the Toon Lagoon area at Islands of Adventure.
The area has a comic book feel, with lots of little photo opportunites.

Kids can hit at targets and other contraptions (Not to mention other children) with cannons that shoot foam balls.
Dennis' Madhouse is an all weather ball play area.
