The story goes that an abandoned subway station was found under the park, home to a dormant monster.

The ride entry is themed like a subway entrance.

The ride opened as part of an expansion of the park with a number of new eateries, so several dining terraces surround the ride too.

Many parts of the ride soars above park walkways and plazas.

B&M Inverted coasters feature 4 across seating. The fact the park has been able to fit such a large ride into such a compact park is a testament to the skill of the design team.

After years of work, 2021 saw the opening of Monster, Grona Lund's daring inverted coaster from Bolliger & Mabillard.

Looking down at the load platform.

It combines the ride motions of a Space Shot and a Turbo Drop. You are launched to the top of the tower (rather than a slow ascent) held at the top, and then launched back towards the ground, followed by several up and down bounces.

It's impressive how space efficient the ride is.

A couple of bunny hills are followed by a banked figure 8 turn.

The main part of the ride is intertwined with Jetline, with a few banked turns and a few switchbacks at the far end, before turning around and heading back towards the station.
