The ride uses a switch track system to allow the train to travel in two directions on the launch track.
First the train rolls onto to the start of the launch track and then stops.

The train glides out of the station, and a low barrier makes it easy to photograph your friends on the ride.

The trains feature a comfortable overhead lapbar and elevated seating, creating a real feeling of openness when riding.

The load platform is functional, with plenty of space for loose items, and dual exit gates to clear the platform quickly.

The safety video plays on overhead screens. There are 10 rows on one train, each seating two riders.
The Tailwhip equipped train has only 9 rows, and the load gates are programmed to keep the gate for row 10 closed when that train is parked.

The station is spacious, with the entry host able to batch three trains ahead of time by directing guests to stand on the dots.

The left queue splits again into three to separate the single rider, ride express and Tailwhip lines.

The coaster features a wide variety of elements, including 4 inversions, a triple "swing launch" with a reverse spiral, a rock tunnel, and of course plenty of turns and hills.

It features the worlds first installation of Mack's HybridTrain, which features a spinning pair of seats at the rear. Dreamworld have branded the experience "Tailwhip' and at the time of writing is a $25 upcharge.

New for 2021 is Steel Taipan, a launch coaster from Mack Rides.

A modern wavy roof shades the queues for these rides. Strangely, both rides have a single shared queue line.

These slides start with a couple of enclosed turns with rainbow light effects, followed by some open air turns. You can race your friend, though the speed is highly variable depending on how you lay.

Kaboom is the flagship slide on the new tower, featuring a duelling pair of master blasters. There are two uphill sections, plus a 'tailspin' element, which is essentially an open air version of the Constrictor helices.
The ride has a couple of enclosed section, one of which is fully dark, whilst the other is near transparent.

Blink and you'll miss it, Double Barrel is a quick double dipping slide into a splashdown. It's runout is parallel to Kaboom.

The Extreme H20 Zone branding is all but gone from the park. The changerooms in the area have had minor external renovations to give them a modern look.
