However, through the development of special materials, they have been able to build a submarine that can be zapped with a special beam of light, shrinking it to fish size.
The pre-show is easy enough to follow. The Marine Life institute have tried to observe fish, but they always get scared off!

They've done well to fit a bulky attraction building into the park without the ability to hide it behind a berm or other buildings.
It gives the sense giant submarines and so forth dock inside.
Futuristic research boats are docked too.
The ride building bears a fanciful utopian futuristic style.
The ride takes place in the Marine Life Institute. Already we can see some Finding Nemo references in the artwork.
The attraction is located in Port Discovery.

Nemo and Friends Searider is a motion simulator attraction that was a re-theme of the Storm Rider attraction which opened with the park originally.

The ride is high thrill, with the elevator flinging riders up and down the full height of the tower several times, stopping at floors with impressive special effects.
