Next comes a bit of a turning drop.

The ride passes over a few more hills as it runs along the backs of buildings. The backdrop train travelling in reverse through the course can be seen here.

Passing over Hollywood main street.

Interesting supports.

To reduce the footprint, many parts of the ride are stacked over each other.

The ride has been craftily squeezed in between buildings.

The first and second hills.

The ride begins with the first drop, an airtime hill over the main street, then a hammerhead turn.

Inside the station, with the control booth overlooking everything.

The enclosed lift hill evokes memories of another Universal ride, The Incredible Hulk Coaster (Though no uphill launch here!)

The ride is jammed into a tight spot, so there are a couple of turns over the queue before you enter the lift.

The forward facing train ready to go.

The seats are equipped with speakers, and each rider can select from one of 5 tracks via buttons on the lap restraint.

Loading into the backdrop train.

The Backdrop train is painted a distinctive red. All trains are equipped with sparkling LEDs on the body.

A glimpse of the ride ahead as you climb the stairs into the station. One train rolls over the airtime hill whilst another train returns to the station.

Track switch for the dual loading station. This one uses a piece of track that spins around on the spot.

Screens in the queue warning Backdrop riders not to proceed if they are subject to motion sickness.

The station building follows the Hollywood theme.

The queue is lush with manicured gardens, like what you'd see in wealthy areas like Beverley Hills.
