The reason for the design was to allow perfect inline twists.
Ultra Twister is a rare example of the dying Pipeline Coaster breed, with cars that run between the rails.
The cars then reserve down onto the lower level via the yellow track. A pair of catch rails (That can be seen closely if you look above the downward slope) tips the pod of riders from their backs to upright again.
The curve out of the drop keeps the G forces in check, and they are brought to a stop on the horizontal track, the riders laying on their back.
The entrance to Jet Ski.
The pods are first reversed out of the station, lifted vertically, then pushed forwards over the drop track, where they are released.
The ride uses a series of 4 person pods that can be moved horizontally and vertically.
These rides were created before the advent of magnetic braking, so the only way to safely halt a freefalling car was to use a horizontal run out track with friction brakes.
Free Fall is a classic drop ride from Intamin.
This one doesn't swing more than about 45 degrees, compared to the Giant Frisbee, which reaches 120 degrees. The seats face inwards, and have a fixed floor beneath them.
In addition to a Giant Frisbee, Nagashima Spaland also has a regular sized Frisbee.
The ride was built by Huss.

Like almost everything at the park, it is named directly after the manufacturers product name.
Giant Frisbee is a spinning pendulum ride.
Using a steering wheel, riders can flick their jetski outwards from the ring as the ride spins, making waves.

Jet Ski is a fairly complicated ride, with a spinning ring with jet skis that guests board via retracting platforms.
