It's an absolute top class ride, and a must do on any theme park expedition to Japan.
As it turned out, we didn't get to ride until an hour or so before closing time because of rain all day.
Take our advice; If rain is forecast, reschedule to another day. The ride will not run in the slightest spits of rain, and will complete 10 test cycles before reopening, meaning it can be a number of false starts in terms of re-opening if the rain is patchy.
Chances are, the reason you're headed to Parque Espana is specifically to ride Pyrenees, so this will likely be your first glimpse of it.

After a bit of a straightaway comes the final element, an airtime hill. It's a good little trick for a finale.

Next comes a very tight helix that threads through the loop.
Coming out of the cobra roll the track heads uphill back towards the 2nd loop.
Sweeping out of the 2nd loop, the train heads downhill slightly through a turn into a cobra roll.
