No doubt Wonder Woman Flight of Courage has much more appeal to the public than the ride it replaced!
The ride is almost identical to Jersey Devil Coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure, though the ending is slightly different, with the load station off to the side to make use of the station building vacated by the defunct "Green Lantern: First Flight" (An Intamin Zacspin Coaster)
A closer look at the single rail "raptor" track system developed by RMC for this type of ride.
Despite crazy appearances, the experience is on par with other thrill coasters of similar scale, and perhaps less intense than RMCs Wooden hybrid coasters.
The ride is strange to watch, with the long train whipping around tight curves.
The final brakes.
One last overbanked turn.
One of the final hills banks to one side.
The remainder of the ride is a number of smaller hills of various shapes.
An overbanked turn forms the next turnaround.
After the zero g roll comes a mid course brake run.
An elevated turnaround separates the stall and the roll.
The next two inversions are a zero g stall and a zero g roll.
After the dive loop is a classic airtime hill.
The first inversion is a dive loop, with a good flick at the top.
The 40m first drop. The long train means a fair bit of whip in the back seats.
Up on the load station the 12 car train rolls through without stopping. The platform is long enough for staff to check all seats. The trains are equipped with a zip up pouch in front of each seat for loose items.
A map of Themyscira. Why are there's kangaroos on the west coast though?
Themyscira is the home of the Amazonian warriors (Of which Wonderwoman is a member), so there are displays of weaponry and information about the Amazonians.
The entrance to the ride, into the "Embassy of Themyscira".
