The trains are the newest Vekoma design. These are in fact the 4th set of trains the ride has had. It opened with Arrow trains, then ones from Vekoma, followed by a short stint with Kumbak trains, and finally the newest Vekoma design.

More interesting supports.

You can see here how the new track differs from the regular Vekoma track design. The opportunity was taken to re-profile some sections, necessitating some support extensions and modifications.

The ride reportedly holds a lot of sentimental value for the Dutch, often being the first "big" coaster many kids ride. The ride was built in 1981, and nearing the end of its lifespan, so to avoid removing it, the park replaced the track!

Python is a Vekoma loopscrew coaster.

Villa Volta is a "mad house" attraction.

It's a clever mechanism that allows for a high vantage point without a tall tower disrupting the skyline.

The centre of the platform has an inverted cone structure to make the whole mechanism feasible.

Unlike most observation towers that have the platform rising up a tower, this one has you lifted up by a giant counter-weighted arm.

Pagode is a "Flying Island" observation attraction.

In Europe it is common to put raptor silhouettes on glass to discourage smaller birds from striking the glass.
