Yeah and wouldn't this one be for Australia then?Err, no because none of the other coasters match this pattern....Why don't the US coasters begin with 1, or the Chinese coasters begin with 86?613300070 ----- MC-E50-146-C46L1 = SFOG -
That is what I meant in my second post, sorry for the confusion.NO. obviously the later you get it, the less time you have to spend using the pass. you could buy it June 29th and have like 2 days to use it..... This offer is available online on FRIDAY.... -
aha, so the 5 months is only if you get it on Friday. From what I have heard, YES, the entry to the parks with the pass stops on the 31st June. -
Incredible deal really. But let me get this straight no matter when you but it it will run out on the 31st of June or you can buy the 5 month pass up until the 31st of June. Silly question I know but I just want to clarify. Cheers,News just through.... Warner Village are launching a pass valid untill the 31st June that will include unlimited entry to all 3 parks from this Friday.... -
Quintuple post or what ever the word is for five in a row. Seriously that has to be a record. Nice work
The Main street buildings are very detailed and look great.

Hehe, I take it you work there, well doneWhy Thank you, Thank you very much. Please direct all medals to the Food and Beverage Department @ Movieworld. Will there be a presentation ceremony???
-
Well not really but it would be good and keep compitition soaring. We might even get new additions every year.Do we really need another theme park here on the Coast?
Well so do the other parksThis coaster would be ideal for one of the pre-existing ones ie Dreamworld who still have plenty of room to develope and expand. -
It's ok you didn't double post. But Yeah, I agree lets just hope for a rollercoaster though I am not holding my breath. MDMC was in 07 so my guess for the next big thing would be 2010 though I am not sure, maybe it will be another upcharge attraction. IMO 2010 is when Movieworld will also get its next big thing most likely a rollercoaster.Sorry for the double post but i had to point something out. -
Wow guys some great tributes here
Gazza yours is hilarious, nice work, Movieworld good on you, I like your artwork keep on painting. Mrt takes top prize though, incredible

Yeah I am interested to know to, I like the queue for Scooby though sometimes it is long but in themeing aspects it is fantastic and whats wrong with the Lethal Weapon queue? In what way? Seems about the same as ever to me....I don't recall anything being broken, and the fountain was going...Am I missing something? -
http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/index.php?showtopic=4562Gazza, what are the details on the skydiving simulator? Just curious. -
Can we bet on which park we think will win?
-
I voted MW obviously, the rides, themeing, experience, atmosphere, enough said. WnW would probably come in second although when I went at Christmas I didn't really enjoy my day due to huge lines, short rides and going with people a majority of who were happy to go on Calypso Beach all day and leave at 2 in he afternoon. But I liked the rides and park over all.
Pretty easy to tell which park is our favorite.Lets see which theme park is the most popular within the Parkz community -
I checked out the video and it looked fantastic. I was surprised to see how cheap it really was $88 which gives you the equivalent of 3 skydives which collectively would be worth over $600. What a great experience I personally would love to try it, to fly with no strings attached and have minutes of free fall is like a dream come true though how does the free fall thing work seen as you aren't really free falling just being pushed up in an air chamber. Nice find MattDoes not anyone else find find this exciting? its a great addition to the Gold Coast.... no one made any response to it -
Is it just me or does anyone else think these type of Intamin rides have below par reliability. From what I have heard MDMC breaks down all the time whether it be minor or major. Now I am sure the lack of maintenance has some part to play however at Seaworld this isn't really an issue and it has already broken down after well under a month. Whats the deal, is there an explanation? Cheers,Yes unfortunatley. It is broken, but they are working hard to get back up and running even if you might not see it, they are. -
Paint ball, I am sure that would go down well the public. Maybe they should rename Ocean Parade, Upcharge Parade and start charging for Claw and Wipeout, a little extra revenue couldn't hurt.
-
Another up charge, come on Dreamworld what are you thinking? I hope they have something in store for us this year because if that is all they can give the public then they are just asking for a drop in attendance. Seriously a majority of the public visit Dreamworld for the rides which is something they have failed to deliver in recent years.
Isn't Dreamworld already a family entertainment center or any theme park for that matter?trying to convert the place from a theme park into a bowling/family entertainment centre? No thanks! -
Haha that was funnyWasn't he referring to a question about picking up Dreamworld radio transmissions last year? I think that was the jokeGood luck getting 5 people together.

Looks good so far. I hate the limitation of building to squares on RCT3 they make it hard to get an accurate recreation though you have done a great job considering what you have to work with.one more photo... Shot0006.bmp What do you think? -
Well I wouldn't mind if it came to Australia. We would get our first wooden coaster since Wonderland but the rest isn't all that great. I wonder though, how would they survive on the gold coast having to compete with 5 other large theme parks?
Does the place start with a 'D'I know a place in coomera that could do with bulldozing... -
Better suited to Jamberoo action park IMO. I think it will be sold and go to a good home however the possibilities of MW buying it are next to none.I know it would be a very cheap and unsatisfactory addition to Movie World, but wouldnt it be nice if the coaster was given new lease on life at Movie World? -
For some reason I think Looney Tunes River ride won't be around for much longer partly due to it's age and also the current state it is in. It has lacked maintenance and funding for a while now but I hope 2009 sees this attraction restored to its former glory.* A total refresh and update of the Looney Tunes River ride - not only bring this MW classic back to it's original grandeur but enhance the attraction with improved technology and maybe even some new scenes and suprises to this sadly dating attraction

Very visually appealing, something I wouldn't mind at Wet'n'Wild really. Maybe to replace the Terror Canyons if they are going like someone suggested.
