  1. News just through.... Warner Village are launching a pass valid untill the 31st June that will include unlimited entry to all 3 parks from this Friday....
Incredible deal really. But let me get this straight no matter when you but it it will run out on the 31st of June or you can buy the 5 month pass up until the 31st of June. Silly question I know but I just want to clarify. Cheers,
  2. Do we really need another theme park here on the Coast?
Well not really but it would be good and keep compitition soaring. We might even get new additions every year.
This coaster would be ideal for one of the pre-existing ones ie Dreamworld who still have plenty of room to develope and expand.
Well so do the other parks
  3. Sorry for the double post but i had to point something out.
It's ok you didn't double post. But Yeah, I agree lets just hope for a rollercoaster though I am not holding my breath. MDMC was in 07 so my guess for the next big thing would be 2010 though I am not sure, maybe it will be another upcharge attraction. IMO 2010 is when Movieworld will also get its next big thing most likely a rollercoaster.
  4. I voted MW obviously, the rides, themeing, experience, atmosphere, enough said. WnW would probably come in second although when I went at Christmas I didn't really enjoy my day due to huge lines, short rides and going with people a majority of who were happy to go on Calypso Beach all day and leave at 2 in he afternoon. But I liked the rides and park over all.

Lets see which theme park is the most popular within the Parkz community
Pretty easy to tell which park is our favorite. :)
  5. Does not anyone else find find this exciting? its a great addition to the Gold Coast.... no one made any response to it
I checked out the video and it looked fantastic. I was surprised to see how cheap it really was $88 which gives you the equivalent of 3 skydives which collectively would be worth over $600. What a great experience I personally would love to try it, to fly with no strings attached and have minutes of free fall is like a dream come true though how does the free fall thing work seen as you aren't really free falling just being pushed up in an air chamber. Nice find Matt :)
  6. Yes unfortunatley. It is broken, but they are working hard to get back up and running even if you might not see it, they are.
Is it just me or does anyone else think these type of Intamin rides have below par reliability. From what I have heard MDMC breaks down all the time whether it be minor or major. Now I am sure the lack of maintenance has some part to play however at Seaworld this isn't really an issue and it has already broken down after well under a month. Whats the deal, is there an explanation? Cheers,
  7. Another up charge, come on Dreamworld what are you thinking? I hope they have something in store for us this year because if that is all they can give the public then they are just asking for a drop in attendance. Seriously a majority of the public visit Dreamworld for the rides which is something they have failed to deliver in recent years.

trying to convert the place from a theme park into a bowling/family entertainment centre? No thanks!
Isn't Dreamworld already a family entertainment center or any theme park for that matter?
  8. Hey guys just a 2 quick questions, Can someone show me how to make waterfalls on RCT3. I have been trying for a while an have yet to have a successful attempt. How do you put in Custom supports? Thanks :)

  9. Well I wouldn't mind if it came to Australia. We would get our first wooden coaster since Wonderland but the rest isn't all that great. I wonder though, how would they survive on the gold coast having to compete with 5 other large theme parks?

I know a place in coomera that could do with bulldozing...
Does the place start with a 'D' :P
  10. * A total refresh and update of the Looney Tunes River ride - not only bring this MW classic back to it's original grandeur but enhance the attraction with improved technology and maybe even some new scenes and suprises to this sadly dating attraction
For some reason I think Looney Tunes River ride won't be around for much longer partly due to it's age and also the current state it is in. It has lacked maintenance and funding for a while now but I hope 2009 sees this attraction restored to its former glory.
