Hi All, I am heading up to the GC for Chrissy and the Holidays in December. Just wondering if the parks are closed at all on any of these days (I assume Christmas is a given). Also, from your experiences which particular days are the parks massively over crowded? Cheers!

Eww, African Safari park?? My friends told me it was being financed by paramount studios or something along those lines... Does that sound right? Here i was thinking maybe a WB or Universal type theme park... Not animals!!

Hey, i was recently in Melb, and a friend of mine told me that there was an approval for a new "theme park development" somewhere in northern melbourne i think. I cant recall the exact place they said it was happenning, but they are pretty in the know and wouldnt make this sort of thing up. Has anyone on here heard anything about it?

Ive been to DW when NSW schools were on holidays, and when QLD schools were on holidays (QLD holidays begin a week before NSW i think) and ive found that it is less crowded when QLD schools are on holidays...

i have heaps of nostalgic pics of the demon and there shud be some on this site... my mate threw up after going on the demon 5 times in a row when he was really wacked... he learnt his lesson!

The Wipeout is one of my favorite rides at DW. Its not scary or intense or anything, its just really really fun and wacked out!!! is it open yet???

Good on Dreamworld, the place fooly rocks! Despite all the whingeing and complaining thats made about the theme park on this website, its still a damn fine place and the best theme park in the world!!!

It angers me that stupid people who CHOOSE to live near an established fun park want to deny us the pleasures of a few cheap thrills... damn them!!!

I personally HATE wild mouse coasters... the one at Luna Park Sydney is just terrifying, and not a good terrifying, a "oh my god this hunk of junk is gunna kill me" terrifying... anyway thats my 2 cents on the subject

thought so, nah i didnt think anything big wud make it, just rides like endeavor, maybe a few of the kiddy rides that where there, last time i was at Luna Park, the park itself was pretty packed, with people and rides, where r they gunna fit any new rides???

What 3 rides from wonderland will they be managing to get???However if they manage to get 3 rides from Wonderland and continue to update their rides for the holiday season, then it appears Luna Park is travelling in the right direction. -
thats pretty crazee... i know they say the magnet which catches the gondolas as they fall will last for a million years or somethin, but are they electromagnets? if so, wouldnt they only work when they have power? what would happen if their was a sudden blackout??? anyone know if DW has their own power source or somethin? just interested... :cool:
