Better at what? It's a pretty generic question when it's not such a simple answer.

I'll vote movieworld for their ride offerings, especially if you are an adult, but is it a better park? I don't think they have done enough with the rest of the park to say they are better. More like they have a lot of things that need addressing. It's about time they put money into facilities and amenities (here's a start, how about something simple like shaded queue lines everywhere when it's routinely passing 40 degrees ambient temps in summer?) throughout the park and give the kids area an overhaul. There have a steadily widening gap between thrill rides and proper family offerings they seemingly refuse to address.

I think they need more seats in the shaded area near the photo center.

Superman Escape has had its maintenance pushed back  to Monday 05th June and will re-open on Monday 26th June. And AA has had its maintenance brought forward to Monday 24th April and will re-open on Monday 05th June.

Booked our holidays thinking Superman was going to be open on the 5th (the day we arrive) until the 26th (the day we leave)

Living on the other side of the country so not sure, do these dates ever get reduced in time? e.g. it may open earlier than the  26th June

    Thanks

If you get the use out of it, sure. May be worth waiting for the next refresh now.

My personal favourite items on HB are the Salmon Bagel from Main St Deli @ MW and Seafood Basket from the top terrace @ SW.

5 of us on holiday from W.A. for 22 days, I think the charge is $125 each at the moment. Would be at SeaWorld / Movieworld or Wet n Wild at least 16 of those days.

    *facepalm*

Also worth noting Hunger Buster has been refreshed/thirst quencher introduced.

Thirst Quencher is unlimited soft drink refills (one sipper included) across the 3 parks $24.99 (14 days) $39.99 (June 30)

    Hunger Buster is $54.99 (14 days) $99.99 (June 30)

    Combo (Both) is $69.99 14 days $124.99 (June 30)

Blackout dates of Dec 26 - Jan 15

Is it worth the cost, food wise?

Ummm, I think we're talking about different things.  I think the question was about the unlimited dining which you could go to Ricks Cafe several times for, as opposed to just once.  Maybe I've misunderstood.

Thanks RossL, that is what I was chasing the info about. Where you paid a one off amount and could eat there for 3 weeks.

    Shit - that was hard.

Does anyone actually try to find the information out themselves anymore?

I should have worded it better then your sarcasm wouldn't have been warranted, but thanks anyway.

  6. Just got back from a 3 week holiday to the Gold Coast.

I still don't think very much of the MDMC. Jet Rescue is a way better ride.

Must say that the staff that I dealt with at all the parks were very good.

Justice League was a good bit of fun for all ages, it took until Monday just gone for the hologram of Star Lord to be working.

    I liked the storm coaster.

Still hate the fact that 2 people could be standing in line for a 4 person ride and 4 people skip the line to stand next to them 'so they can ride together'
