Hello swagjord, hope you enjoy wet'n'wild sydney on your visit in the holidays and please make the most of it, to answer your question, NO they do not check your weight, i had taken photo's of the weight restrictions in particular areas of the park for the rides so hopefully this information helps you and by the way while i was there Wednesday Thursday and Friday there were quite a few bigger customers there enjoying themselves both female and male so don't ever worry about the weight issue until you get there and find out yourself buddy...
THE BREAKERS, HALF PIPE, TROPICAL CYCLONE, TYPHOON, AQUA TUBE: Max 2 people - 110cm+ - Min weight 45kg - Max 180kg all slides.
DOUBLE BOWLSeye, RIPTIDE, THE CURLER: Max 5 people - 120cm+(riptide) - 110cm+(double bowlseye, the curler) - Max 365kg all slides.
I didn't get a photo of the restrictions for the BOMBORA, TANTRUM, T5, etc but they are sign posted along the side before you walk up those stairs so no one will ever question you about your weight, you are who you are and you are unique, Go and enjoy yourself play and laugh as much as you want......
Thank you very much for this information! I really hope they don't check my weight I feel embarrassed when all my mates are there. Did you see an weight scales when you were lining up or seen anyone step on one?
-
They have a scale that they weigh you on after lining up down the bottom before walking up the stairs of the tower.
Can everyone see it ? Gonna be so embrassing?
-
hey ask you how much you weight or do they have a scale there and they make you weight yourself?
-
Do they check you'r weight before you go on the ride?
-
Go to www.wetnwild.com.au and click on the attractions tab and choose a ride.
It will then bring up a tab with restrictions and just check that one out.....should be all ok.
Thank you very much.. and just one more question... do they ask you how much you weight or do they have a scale there ?

I too am a "big bloke" and I believe that there is only one ride at the park with a weight limit, and that is the looping slide, which I believe is either 120 or 125kg weight limit.
Check on the parks site and as you click on each slide, it should tell you the restrictions for riding, if any.
Cheers
EDIT: Just confirmed that the Aqua Loop has a limit of 120kg...others don't have a weight limit as far as I can tell...
Hello thank you replying do you mind linking me the page where it says?

To Heavy for the rides?
So my mates and me are planning to go wet'n'wild in the holidays and I'm a pretty big bloke around 120kg and 175CM and I'm pretty worried that they won't let me in the rides, I am afraid to go to the parks and get turned away because of my weight... and will they ask me how much I weight or will they weight me instead?
Need help with this please!
