From TPSN (no idea who the statement came from as it’s not on DW’s page)

Statement from Dreamworld Australia on the logride reopening!

At the moment most likely it will not be opening Monday. We're in the final stages of testing, but we're currently working with external auditers, Workplace Health and Safety and engineering experts to get the final tick of approval. This end stage is taking longer than expected mainly due to the recent holidays. When we have a firm date we'll update our website and announce the reopening on our social media channels.

It sounds like to me as though it is just a simple Facebook message!!

  2. Thought I’d add in my experience of justice league today:

I’d personally like to thank JL for malfunctioning and providing me with this today4687A549-4099-4208-BF15-63B8B22EE94B.thumb.jpeg.ff9adc3b63febddc4c300c96367ac2c1.jpeg

I was very pleased that I was able to skip the long hot line of Rivals for a nice front seat view. Aswell as it was very nice of them to allow us to actually get off the ride very quickly and actually explain to us what happend it’s also neat that we could actually be given a pass to get straight into another ride.

I’ve never heard of this pass before, anyone can clarify on if they’re new or if you’ve received one?

    8. Removing the weird bridges and pathways.
    9. TRRR Removal.
    10. Wipeout.

In typical Dreamworld "let's do less than the bare minimum" fashion they have gone and installed an observation platform on the rides course, but then used a free sponsor umbrella as shade... Seriously could they not just build a small awning in theme and try not to make the place look even MORE shit that it already does?

As for the cage of death on the log, I'm just gonna throw that in the what the actual f... basket, sigh and move on.

I think you'll find that a ride attendant will stand there under the umbrella to monitor the back area of the ride which the op above the station can only see in very few limited cameras. But I can also see this giving the main op an less stressful job only having to watch that part which will be more demanding with the new station system. Also I find this method of safety extremely unnecessary but obviously  a sea belt was too hard.

Very sad to see that theyappear not to be running any Beat Box or Fire Machine style events this year. I am sure they had started by this time the last two years, and those really were exciting experiences.

Christmas schedule runs until the 25/Boxing Day Period. Once that date the new shows, events, themes etc. Will Be announced and put into the parks daily operations. And Yes that does include Kevil Hill which is opening around that date.
