I also went to luna park melbourne last week and agree the park just doesnt have the charm what it use to.. Someone has blacked out a few of the teeth on the giant mouth.. The park is just so muddled, there is barely anything related to luna park in the gift shop.. Ill always love luna park its sad to see it so run down when lindsey fox was supposed to be making the park alot fresher

Thanks guys for all your responses.. Believe me if i had my way id be making my way through all the theme parks in the usa lol but my partner isnt much of a coaster fan and its our first time outta the country so i have compromised to 2 parks.. Disney i think is a must for me and im leaning towards universal studios only because im not keen on riding 17 coasters on my own lol

Hey guys after some opinions im off to LA in march and wondering what would be your must do park? Im pretty keen to do disneyland but im only there for 5 days so not sure whether to do six flags magic mountain or universal? Which would you do?

I went to dreamworld last friday and went on every ride most i waited was probably 20 mins for giant drop and the only had one side operating

Has there been a set date yet for the opening? Im going up to gold coast in 12 days and thinking i may just miss out on getting to ride

I think dreamworld is great, i love that there is a fair few adult rides there but i think movieworld has a better feel to it, much better themed rides and just a great feel about the place.. Just think they need a few more thrill rides.., as for the food ive had hit and miss at both parks, depending on time of day how busy the park is etc but i do think dreamworlds prices are a bit more resonable.. Only 6 weeks till i get to revisit looks like ill just be missing out on buzzsaw

Looks alot smaller than i thought it would be.. But i gues im comparing it to some of its bigger versions?? Though cant wait to give it a spin when i head up in september, by the looks of things ill just be missing out on the new coaster

1. Im in melbourne so meet up for me wouldnt be a possibilty.. 2. would love reviews on other parks, ive never travelled overseas but have big plans to in the next few years have a list if parks i wanna visit.. So reading reviews gets me revved up even more -

Im up visiting from Melbourne and haven’t been to dreamworld in probably 5 years. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was today we walked on to steel taipan many times, I don’t think we waited more than 15 mins for any ride. Is attendance still down because of what happened with the rapids or did I just happen to go on a quiet day? It was a bit sad to see honestly. From what I’ve been reading movie world has had ridiculous wait times and alot of the main rides down for unexpected maintenance so thought dreamworld would have been busy as well.
