Is there any reason why it takes so long here? SFMM as far as I'm aware currently has 20 rollercoasters open.. with no issue. In fact while i've been there I've only seen one coaster closed due to maintenance.
I can't remember the last time Disney coasters need to close down for so long.. I can imagine the outrage if Space Mountain was closed for months for scheduled maintenance (overlay installations are different), in fact evening opening late causes so much of an outrage an article was written about it!

Those costs would be nothing in comparison to the Kuka ride system which
SPOILERS AHEAD
Loads one at a time .. unlike the harry version. Very cool experience

I got a ticket to WB AD just because it was so cheap after getting a Ferrari World ticket - anyway yeah it's mindblowing. Every attraction would be a E ticket at any Disney park. MWGC should really just pickup one of their rides and copy it. Any single ride. Heck even the Disk'O was a highlight.
Then after that theres a sneaky Kuka Robocoaster hiding in a corner. Insane.

The Gold Coast parks would be better off closing for a month or so to do all the maintenance at once (if they could have enough crew to complete it) - they'd spend most of winter operating at a loss anyway (apart from school holidays). The flagship parks globally wouldn't have as many rides down as they have right now - it would be like Disneyland opening with Splash/Space/BTMR down .. putting everyone on Carousel of Progress and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Heck European parks even get temporary carney rides in if they have extended downtime of a ride during the season. Get Speed in and offer rides included in the entrance fee .. something you can't get anywhere else.

The six flags versions aren't clones of the MW version....

The other thing that is interesting is that all the six flags clones don't appear to have the same issues that's plaguing the MW version

Straight up copy-pasta?

I love how these parks had areas you could cook your own food.. and playgrounds. Cheap addiction for parks in Australia which will please both kids and families. I can't see them letting you cook your own food here though.

Nah Scooby already gives away going backwards for free
Don't give them any ideas

Yeah it’s common practice overseas to give away rides for free if they need to cycle a train anyway - seems like a waste if not. Unless they can just unlock the spinny car instead of the whole train

They literally could copy/paste any of the attractions from MW Abu Dhabi. Having a trackless dark ride would tick off their obsession with “Southern Hemispheres first” etc. I think

Do you guys honestly think they’ll run the both duelling coasters outside of school holidays ?

Why not have 1 opening if you can have 3 seperate ones!

Right... but you're the one who specifically brought up Zadra, not me. 🙄
I was specifically referring to the cost
All those Vekomas are just trying to replicate RMC's

I've been probably 5 times and this is the first I'm hearing of a water effect on Superman 😕

This is (again a common theme for our parks) stupid.. and I was surprised when I actually saw someone share a ORP to have it not cropped at all.. including empty seats etc.
Why are you paying for people to be there if they can't the photo? I'd I've had six flags crop a photo even when I didn't have show any indication that I was interested in buying the said photo. It's also a weird privacy thing when you're making money off selling photos of random people.

Scooby in the dark was 100% a better ride... like if you're not even going to bother to mask up a TV hanging on a wall.. why bother at all?

Zadra's height limit is 140 cm, which is not that short, and taller in fact than DC Rivals.
Untamed at Walibi Holland is 120cm, and more realistic for something that scale to be at MW

Zadra is shorter then Rivals and was also placed on flat land, whereas Rivals was placed on top of a swamp
Luckily there’s a whole bunch of footers spare now!
No reason why height limits need to change country to country - the trains are designed to be safe for a specific height for riders globally.
I’m also for unaccompanied riders to be based on age not height too. The only reason is to keep some sanity during ride stops / Evacs.

F.L.Y. would be mega cool but it’s way more expensive. Zadra (a massive ground up RMC) cost $10m euro - cheaper than rivals - and again shorter kids can go on them - and they have elements we don’t have (zero g rolls/stalls maybe even a jojo roll)

the only RMC i could see fitting into that area (AA plot only) would be a raptor clone of WWGLC or Stunt Pilot. I don’t think that would be the post choice either as much as we’d love it
As much as I'd love a raptor - they're definitely not a capacity sucker like a huge B&M.. and LPS have a very similar product. Boomerangs seem like a really dumb way to attempt to suck capacity - you can only have one train and its unload/load time to ride ratio sucks. I'd rather 1 Mack Spinning Coaster (since the gold coast are obsessed with spinning rides right now). Something like Sierra Sidewinder with a 105cm height limit. Good for kids and adults, a unique ride every time and you can have 2 trains! and nest that inside a RMC. There's no way it could be louder than the SLC.
And look! Here's another one that's small - and 10ft less height wise.

Luckily for them they could get crew from overseas who normally do winter work in the northern hemisphere to do the same here.
This was the same one that's been closed for me on half of my visits - rmc wen?
True - but I was there in November (their dead season) and every ride was open.. just running damn slow because it was like 5 degrees C
They haven't announced an end date -but the last time it closed - it was only for two weeks.
