Spent the weekend staying at the resort for Carnivale. Visited Friday afternoon and got 5 rides in with no wait.
Only got one at night (around 8.00) due to heavy rain but it was hauling!
I’d go at park opening, don’t line up, but as soon as you hear it operating get a virtual queue. The return time should only be about 5-10mins. Once the operator has cleared it, get another one straight away.
if you’re going mid week, wait times will be considerably less regardless.

Definitely not there for a “just in case” someone puts their hands up.
There should be no section of the ride envelope that comes into contact with anyone at any time.

Has anyone been able to buy one yet?
I randomly get the checkout page but there’s 5 in there. They’re adding to cart but can’t check out. Don’t need 5, just the 1 - it’s glitching for me.

I’ve been trying since 9am to buy one and every time it’s “something went wrong”. Sometimes I see a checkout page but it instantly goes to white, other times the buy now button can’t be pressed, and then I get logged out all together and it’s just the register page.
Not a good start!

Just moved back to QLD and got a locals pass so it’ll be our first time claiming a free ticket that’s included.
When tickets become available do you get directed to their normal ticketing site or is there a specific link that gets sent out?

As for the travel and something you need to factor in, is if you happen to test positive to Covid on your pre-departure PCR you have to be prepared to isolate for 14 days before you fly home. Obviously this is worst case scenario but a factor none the less.
As for the parks yourself - I’ve done it and it’s great.

I went for the first time in over a decade on opening night.
Overall I really enjoyed it.
Main Street was great, Hellbillies had some good scare actor interaction. Killer Klownz lacked some atmosphere. Themed music would have helped this area. Having the bright lights of the carnival games takes away from it all.
Wild West at night was cool BUT where’s the fog, flames, actors. A missed opportunity there. It looks great all lit up though.
DCeased was a victim of the marketing. You can tell this is where the budget went with the themeing and costumes - both were exceptional. At the end of the day though it wasn’t scary and was all one and done for me.
Where were the zombie hoards? I would of loved to see a whole room of zombies and the heroes saving us and then the next scene were running from Batman!
As for the other mazes, best of the night was Conjuring. Circurse was fun and I got some good scares but it’s really short. Hellship themeing and audio was top notch but the scares were few and far between. Death Row was solid without being great.
A solid 7.5/10 for the whole night.
