  1. I went to Dreamworld on Wednesday the 5th of December. Mick Doohan now has two trains running at full capacity, this time I left my harness loose and was able to ride without to much discomfort. But I could still feel the harness pushing on to my legs during the ride. As for the Cyclone, the queue is no longer on the inside of the spiral. inside is now how you exit, so now there is no theming until you're on your way out. You now line up on the outside where you used to exit. They have changed the painting at the ride entrance, seems to be a permenant change. Eureka mountain is all boarded up, the chairlift entrance is just as it was, other than that no changes.
I mentioned that a few months ago. I think it was to stop peeps from going down the stairs. But now they go up them. :D
  2. My sister wants to go the event so we'll be getting our tickets on Wednesday. The Hydro coaster being packed wouldn't be unexpected along with the Green room. Can you see in the bro? or is it pitch black? Great TR and glad you had fun. Really looking fwd to friday night although it'll be a long day as we have to get up at 6am.

  3. You didn't, but clearly that is what you were alluding to, I mean what else would you be looking out for? Frosts? Fog? Dust Storms? Tornadoes?
The temperature. Don't want to go if it's in the low 20's during the day. After all it's gets a bit nippy when the sun goes down if it hasn't been a hot day.
  4. I haven't got my tickets yet as I'm waiting to see the weather report. Might go to WnW on Saturday even though hairspray doesn't interest me. Might go to Outback Spectacular on Tuesday.
Mate this is Queensland up here. Queensland is not like Melbourne we don’t live on the weather channel. I have heaps of relatives who live in Melbourne and they pull that line with me all the time. Us Queenslanders go outside and enjoy the day. I can’t see your point on waiting to check the weather; the idea is to get wet.
Agreed, why is rain a problem in a Water Park? All it would do would make things a little bit cooler....though then again this is the Queensland summer, so it would be humid anyway and rain wouldn't make a difference.
Where in my post did i mention rain?

Well there you go. It's a Melbourne thing. :P
  6. Skipping Tornado seems to be a common thing for a lot of visitors....how full was that circular queuing area? (The bit where you wait to pick up a raft) Once you get through that things get faster, from memory to get through the whole part of the queue that goes up the stairs takes under 10 minutes. No matter what the queue, I think this ride warrants at least one ride on your visit...I cant stress enough that people should go straight to the H20 Zone and go on Surfrider and Tornado first. Though at the same time, this highlights the need for WnW to keep on doing big expansions like the H20 zone simply to keep up with demand.
Have to agree there. also if your going to WnW on the Surfside bus get there at about 9-9:15 that way you'll be close to the entry gate and you won't have to wait a while for a ride.
  7. I've only got a Wii. But i like it because it keeps you active most games are under $100 inc new games. You can purchase other games for other systems. You can surf the net plus view photos.

  8. I don't have any news, but was wondering if there was any follow up info on this?
There is now. Tuesday December 4, 12:11 AM Christian Bale to star in "Terminator" sequel LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Batman" star Christian Bale is in negotiations to headline the fourth installment of the "Terminator" movie series. In "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins," the Welsh actor would play the John Connor role originated by Edward Furlong in 1991's "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and continued by Nick Stahl in 2003's "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines." Charlie's Angels" director Joseph "McG" Nichol is in negotiations to shoot the movie, which will be distributed by Warner Bros. James Cameron originated the sci-fi series, which made Arnold Schwarzenegger a star, with 1984's "The Terminator." The series centered on a robot from the future where machines wage war against humanity, whose goal was to kill Sarah Connor, the mother of the future leader of the human resistance. As the movies progressed, the son took a more prominent role. In "T4," Bale's character leads what is left of the human race against the machines. Bale is currently filming "The Dark Knight," a sequel to his debut 2005 Batman outing "Batman Begins." Reuters/Hollywood Reporter Link to story EDIT : There's also a poll Poll results so far. Who should play the new Terminator? Thanks for voting 4885 votes since Dec 3 2007 Christian Bale would be good 7% 352 votes Bring Arnie back 35% 1696 votes (my vote) Give it to Julia Gillard 11% 549 votes John Howard's looking for a job 16% 795 votes They should have stopped after two movies 31% 1493 votes
  9. Was it because you had to pay extra for it? I've got a Platinum pass for DW and WWW which expires in Feb. WWW is pretty cool. It's way smaller than WnW but the rides are just awesome. It took a few days to get my 1st ride on the hydro coaster as every time i lined up it broke down. It's a good ride but it's short as with all of our rides.

  10. Are you planning on doing WWW? Also you would be better off having a TR thread instead of multiple threads as you'll save yourself some typing. :) Wet n wild is ok but not good with your feet on a hot day. Sorry you missed out on Tornado and Surfrider. The Tornado is a pretty cool ride it's worth the wait. I'm planning on going to WnW in 2 weeks. I haven't been since the Tornado was opened.
