As you can see, in preparation for resuming operation on Saturday, they've begun pumping the water back into the ride's containment pool.
Most of the rebuilding of the log ride's first drop has completed, but the ride remains closed until tomorrow.
Work progresses on a concrete slab, presumably housing the ride's operation systems and/or queue.
The footings are placed very close together, hinting perhaps a smaller ride rather than anything big.
An emu can grow to about 1.8m tall and weights of 65kg.
As great as they look, the dingo is considered a wild dog and unless brought up from a young age, they can't be easily domesticated.
The dingo is a native species of dog.
The Australian Wildlife Experience isn't just about the captive animals there. Throughout the entire park, especially in the Kakadu Wetlands area of Dreamworld, birds like this Dusky Moorhen call Dreamworld home, thanks to the many large bodies of water throughout the park.
A Saltwater crocodile, the more aggressive and larger of Australia's crocodiles, baking in the sun.
A Freshwater crocodile baking in the sun.
Carpet Pythons, one of the most common snakes in Australia. Like all pythons it is non-venemous, but relies on strangling and swallowing its prey whole.
Southern Forest Dragon, a small lizard found prodominantly in south-east Queensland and north-east NSW.
More signage is being put up to direct traffic, as well as some plants to make the area at least a little more pleasant.
Several rafts from Thunder River Rapids were delivered to the park today, they have presumably been repaired elsewhere.
The drop will remain the same as what was previously there, with no changes to the height or profile of the drop.
The red and black bars on the two rails will mount the rollers for the conveyor belt.
During this several week period they are replacing the first drop with a new, all-steel structure, because of corrosion that has occured to this part of the ride, and to make it more accessible for maintenance purposes.
Rocky Hollow Log Ride went down recently for its lengthy annual rehab.
Dirt from The Claw's  construction site is being dumped across from the overflow carpark.
