The ride certainly hits a good balance between thrills and that pure "fun" factor.
After another turnaround the two tracks braid over and under each other repeatedly (Similar to a "twister" water slide) before a dueling turnaround where the trains fly by each other in opposite directions (like two trucks passing on a highway).
This echoing tunnel provides the "thunder" as the trains speed through.
Both tracks turn in mirror image directions at the turnaround.
The first half of the ride is a few parallel airtime hills and turns.
The twin lift hills and drops have that real "copy and paste" look about them.
The ride has an elaborate queue and station building.

Lightning Racer is exactly that, a fast paced, twin tracked coaster where trains are dispatched simultaneously and race each other on their respective courses.
The ride system is a bit like a powered coaster with spinning cars, and has some actual drops and so forth, though sadly it never goes faster than a few kilometers per hour.
The low key exterior to the attraction.
Reese's Xtreme Cup Challenge is a dark ride where you shoot lit targets, with some typically quirky "Sally Rides" storytelling.
The high centre of gravity of the trains and sudden banking generates some strong lateral G-forces.
Cocoa Cruiser is a standard Zamperla family gravity coaster.
About to crest the lift hill and dive down the curving first drop.
The rather American looking loading station.
The layout combines relentless turns with a few pops of airtime.

The ride marked a modern revival of the Wooden Twister coaster.
Wildcat was the first coaster built by Great Coasters International.
