The ride is proof that:
A) Motorsport themed coasters don't have to be launched.
B) Motorsport themed coasters don't have to be just flat turns.

Hitting the final brakes.

On the final turn you are twisted sideways, before being flicked upright.

A couple more turns follow.

The train comes around onto a 2nd airtime hill, where it is slowed slightly by magnetic trim brakes.

You would be tossed quite hard from side to side if it weren't for the soft, snug padded chest harness.

After the airtime hill is a series of quick turns with snappy transitions.

The first big airtime hill.

The first drop goes straight into a ground hugging G force turn. Previously the turn was tighter, but had to be rebuilt after the opening season due to causing riders to black out from the forces.

A cable lift hill swifttly brings trains to a height of 93m and over the first drop.

The trains are themed to stock cars.

Inside the loading station. Seems like a missed opportunity to not theme it like a garage.

Earnhardts #3 car.

The ride takes its name from the nickname of now deceased NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt.

Intimidator 305 was the 2nd "Giga Coaster" (> 300ft high) to be built in the US. The first was Millennium force at Cedar Point.
