Bobsled coasters are somewhat of a rare sight, but well worth a try.
More conventional coaster track is used here on the brake run (As well as in the station and on the lift hill).
Quick transitions between the turns add to the fun.
The course consists of several back to back turns which generate a surprising amount of force and lateral movement.
Rather than ice it is a track made of closely spaced steel tubes. Bobsled coasters tend to be expensive for this reason, hence the last one opening in 2001.
Avalanche recreates the sensation of rushing down a bobsled run, without the risk of bone shattering crashes.
