At the end of the slide you splash into a concrete channel.
The slide has rubber pads glued to the flume surface that 'catch' on one side of the raft as they pass (due to friction), causing the rafts to pick up a bit of spin.
The attraction is themed to the villain Penguin from the Batman universe. The giant umbrellas covering the queue are a nod to the trick umbrella weapons the Penguin uses.
Penguin's Blizzard River is essentially a 'dry' version of the family raft slides seen at many water parks. The rafts are watertight, with higher sides, so you can ride in street clothes.
The final inversion as you exit the tangle is a corkscrew. The ride features the same layout as the indoor "Flight of Fear" coasters at Kings Island and Kings Dominion.
The middle portion of the ride is a series of sharp turns and spirals that progressively run downhill.
From the launch it is straight into the first 3 inversions; a cobra roll followed immediately by a sidewinder.
An array of Linear Induction Motors use electromagnetic force to propel the train to 97km/h in 3 seconds.

The ride was built at a time when Six Flags was heavily focused on DC Comics themed rides, and is based on the villain Joker from the Batman universe.
Joker's Jinx launches a train of 20 riders through a tunnel a spaghetti bowl of track featuring 4 inversions.
The final two inversions are a pair of inline twists.
The 3rd inversion is a sidewinder.
From a height of 33m the track drops into the first two inversions; a roll-over.
Shouldn't there be a net or something at this edge?
