The theming is an odd mix of beautiful and humorous.

The ride itself is themed around a ski lift and ski run gone awry.

The has a distinctive German/Swiss Alps theme.

Alpengeist is one of the tallest inverted coaters in the world.


One last bit of theming at the ride exit.

The turn over the river recycled the footings of the "Big Bad Wolf" coaster which previously stood on the site.

The final brakes and transfer track. The ride has 5 trains.

After the drop off the bridge a few more quick uphill turns round out the ride.

The first drop out of the station.

The final part of the ride is some fast turns up onto a rickety wooden bridge, where the train slows to a crawl before dropping off.

The show building is screened by a berm, and the parks dense woodland.

A few turns leads into an uphill launch into a dark "Show Building" with a few surprises. The track then emerges and is launched a 2nd time into the final part of the ride (Look closely and the yellow train departing the 2nd launch can be seen.
