Guests ride in "golden sleighs" with high sidewalls designed to control their sightlines. The sleighs run along a track through several scenes; a combination of real life sets and 3D projections. The sleights can tilt and rotate using a combination of motors and air bladders, all in sync with the action.

The preshow tells the backstory of the ride in a visual style reminiscent of a pop up book.

Guests enter the castle through a gloomy colonnade.

The outdoor portion of the queue winds through a landscaped courtyard with some frozen wolf statues as the centerpiece; a hint at the supernatural abilities of Prince Ludwig.

The ride has quite an attractive exterior that hides the "box" housing the main ride quite effectively.

The ride tells the story of the troubled Prince Ludwig who became corrupt and terrorised anyone who set foot in his castle.

Curse of DarKastle is the flagship dark ride at Busch Gardens.

The gondola also features onboard audio and vibrating seats, used to creative effect moments before the drop.

In keeping with its Oktoberfest surroundings, it's themed to a maypole.

Mäch Tower lifts 30 riders to the top whilst slowly rotating, before suddenly releasing them to plummet towards the ground, where a magnetic braking system brings them to a safe stop.

The location of Ocean Motion makes it somewhat unloved, as visitors tend to move quickly past, deeper into the park to the bigger rides.
