Among explosions of fire and water, a dump tank at the rear of the ride sends a cascade of water onto boats as they pass (Similar in operation to the giant tipping buckets seen on play structures at water parks). To add insult to injury the boats are held momentarily at this scene....There's no escape!
Daylight streams in eerily.
The ride exit walkway passes through the indoor themed section on its way out. A nifty feature is a branch leading to a soak zone, where you can cop a drenching from boats as they splash down...If you weren't wet enough already.
Engine room theming.
The "dark ride" part of the ride consists of broken up parts of the ship scattered through the warehouse.
With a huge wave the riders splash down and are saturated.
The boat ducks under a spinning propeller as it crashes through the hull of the boat.
The whole arrangement is themed to look like a barge.
Water surges either side of the track, with the track travelling down a slot in the middle.
After the main drop is a camel hump which delivers a pop of airtime.
Nice bit of custom saltwater rust effect paintwork on this section of track.
The final drop ducks under the entrance bridge.
