At the end of the ride this nondescript U turn directs you back towards the station.
After the odd helix is a twist and dive, which spends a considerable amount of time upside down, allowing riders to really be hanging in their seats.
The next unique element is a helix, of which half is banked outwards, provides an odd tipping sensation, but surprisingly, no uncomfortable lateral forces.
From the first drop, the track heads up an incline and into a sharp wild mouse style turn.
Its quite an experience being forced to look straight down like this when riding, with only the bottom of the drop in view.
The first big element is the rides marketing point, a beyond vertical drop that attempts to tip riders out. Luckily the harness is there to stop you.
A fast, steep lift hill delivers trains to the top.
The 8 seater cars feature tiered seating, lap restraints only, onboard audio, and a (difficult to photograph) pulsating LED Green Lantern logo.
The ride makes quite intelligent use of space in terms of arrangement, with the fast bit all on the left side, with the station, brake run and transfer track all on the right.
The locker and observation deck from the other side.
The loading are has more comic book imagery, and a simple explaination of the ride story...Paralax is attacking earth, and we're off to fight him.
What was the old Batman Adventure exit is now the ride entrance. A few comic book panels are along it.
At the entrance is the locker bay ($1 for 1 hour) and a protruding viewing deck for the ride.
A chunk of planet Oa appears to have conveniently crash landed at the ride entrance.
Green Lantern is Movie Worlds 5th coaster.
Lets head into Goldrush. You'll note that the sign has been updated with 3 new rusty saws to reflect the new attraction within.
