It turns out this ice cream factory is just a front for Mr Freezes secret hideout, and guests are the ones being shot out of his deep freeze cannon.
The aformentioned overbanked turn.
Mr Freeze is a launched shuttle coaster. Guests are shot out of a tunnel, through an inverted top hat, around an overbanked turn and up a vertical spike, before freefalling backwards and doing it all again in reverse.
The designers seem to have gone to great lengths to sharpen up all of the transitions, to deliver as much weightlessness as they could pack in.
You even get 'sideways airtime' on the overbanked turns.
The ride is incredibly fast paced, delivering 14 moments of airtime.
It features some classic cadillac themed trains, complete with bulls horns...But its that incredibly steep drop we are all interested in aren't we?
After being closed for 2011, Texas Giant was reborn as The New Texas giant.
Don't worry, we havent deliberatley posted a low res image...But it appears Six Flags are happy to put up signage with blown up images like this!
The ride signage, perhaps more sleek than cartoony though.
There are some similarities with the Roadrunner Rollercoaster at Warner Bros Movie World, albeit a shorter layout.
This coaster was previously located at Six Flags New Orleans. Huricane Katrina saw that park close and many of its attractions spun off to other parks.
For those not in the know, the Clinton Street Apartments are the place Clark Kent (Superman) called home in Metropolis.
The queue features a hybrid 3D/Comic book style crashed fighter jet....Or is the green glow supposed to mean it's actually Abin Sur's spaceship? We cant decide.
