The main changerooms are being upgraded so temporary facilities have been provided.
The locker area is being extended...We're guessing to cater for the inveitable attendance increase post AquaLoop.
Down at the Mammoth Falls end of the park some other improvements are taking place.
Here you can see where one of the slide pairs will actually go over the Aqua Racer.
Plenty of vertical construction at the main site.
Look closley next to the second power pole. You can see one of the trap door capsules have been delivered.
The segments seem reasonably translucent, though not 100% transparent.
And to finish off this brief update, a closer look at those slide segments.
The billboard at the front of the park has been updated with the chosen name for the attraction.
All of the steelwork has been unbundled.
Magenta, Green, Blue and Yellow translucent slide segements have been delivered too.
Aqualoop has gone vertical.
To the rear you can see ladders that will most likey service the top escape hatch that this type of slide requires. To the front are the main access stairs to the top of the slide, and supports.
Unlike the Flowrider up the road at Dreamworld, this one will actually be in a water park, not a dry park.
Despite the parks best efforts, the splashing isn't quite contained properly.
If the ride is going to do what it says on the tin, this is where it happens.
