The ride in fact has two launches.
As is common with this ride type, it's a bunch of quick turns taken at speed.
The train rolls into a preshow room, and after a quick display of dramatic light and sound effects the train launches at high speed out of the temple.
The ride was built by Intamin, with guests sitting on a saddle style seat, held in with a lap bar.
Eventually you reach the load area, propped up by timber buttresses in the heart of the temple.

Occasionally you'll see jewels in the temple (Hence the ride name)
Overgrown creepers create a great atmosphere.
The entrance and queue to the ride is set inside a temple.
Guests ride on small quad bikes on over 1km of track.
Juvelen is a Mayan themed family launch coaster.
It doesn't exactly scream Mexican however.
Mini golf in pleasant gardens.
The drops are fairly gentle, controlled by cables.
Quite creative making it look like a rusty sword.
The whole tower tilts from the base.

Sablen is a family sized drop ride with a fun feature....
