The entrance sign and queue area.
Sledgehammer is a swinging pendulum ride, now an Australian theme park staple.
It perhaps has the sharpest presentation of any flat ride at Luna Park.
The ride has two operational speeds, allowing smaller guests to ride on the gentler cycle.

Volare in full flight
The backdrop of the ride features a stylised Sydney skyline, right down to the brutalist Sirius building (Seen between the umbrellas)
Volare is accessed via the lighthouse.
The cars do not have upstop wheels. Instead, there is a pair of rails in the middle of the track with a greased "Mushroom" shaped peg that runs between the rails, preventing the car from lifting off. The thrill comes from the fact there is a bit of a gap, so the car is able to lean outwards on the turns and shift about, making the ride live up to its "wild" name.
And who could forget dear little ratboy?
The unload platform.
The load station contains a loop of track used for car storage.
At one point the track passes very closely over the load station.
What follows is a series of wild dips.
A sweeping helix brings the track under the main structure, with plenty of near misses with the wooden framing.
The ride starts of with a few switchbacks, all built on a tilt, so you lean a bit in your car.
The tiny cars can hold 2 passengers.
An interesting forced perspective mural at the entrance.
Wild Mouse against the Sydney skyline.
With the closure of other high profile Wild Mouse coasters at Aussie World and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the Luna Park Sydney model is one of the last of its kind.
