Buccaneer Bay at Wet'n'Wild

Wet'n'Wild Water World's newly revamped Buccaneer Bay reopened over the September school holidays.

The focal point of this new attraction - that saw the closure of the Double Screamer toboggans to cope with its large size - is the giant tipping bucket which gives new meaning to "it's bucketing down", by dumping hundreds of litres over the play structure every few minutes.

There are also a number of slides aimed at children to complement the water offerings and the ever-popular water cannons are back for plenty of water fighting fun.

Buccaneer Bay is part of a $20 million expansion of Wet'n'Wild that will also see the park introduce seven new slides over the next year into the park in a rand new themed area called H2O Zone. The centrepiece will be the Tornado tube slide, bringing a slide concept which has been wildly popular in USA waterparks downunder.
