  1. as joz would know from talking to him at work today. Movieworld are looking at something Big they have some ideas of different things that may work. But that all I will say as my position is getting alot better in the company now a days which means I need to keep certain stuff quiet or between inside workers like Joz. and to the comment outback crap you need to know that Paradise Country is been built from the overseas market not the Sydney thrill market so in my opion work has made a great little side park to cater for this.

  2. just a update for you guys Kanook is eating much better now which is a good thing and comes out just before opening to walk around the attraction before getting tired and heading in to her Air Condition Den for the rest of the day.

  3. I was talking to DW management today at MW yes at MW anyway a Male and Female were doing a tour of our rides this morning but I wont give you there names because its not you business anyway. I asked them about the new ride at first they were like what ride? but after I told them I knew the industry as I worked at MW and knew the American parks really well they opened a bit more specially after I mention the LOTTE WORLD GYRO SWING which bought a shocked look. Anyway what she did say was September and name isnt 100% yet. P.S The 10:30 to 11:30 period in winter at MW is so much better then DW due to Police Acamedy because you get more ride time at MW. Durning the winter all parks do around the 2000 mark well today there was about 2000 in police acamedy at 10:30 to 11:45 and the attendance was 2100 so there was only 100 people in the rest of the park so I got WWF,Lethal, Scobby and Batman done in the same time it would probably take someone to board Cyclone at DW :P

  4. had training at work today and was finished by 10am so decided to get some rides done before going home. About 3/4 of the way up the lift hill on the final drop it has a new theme which is Dark with tin sheding and sign and dynamite. also all the water features on the ride eg Geyser ect now soak the boat each time so you will get wetter thoughout the course.

  5. ^at SRM last year a ACE female fell out of Raven the wooden coaster as they were all riding with there lap bars half up for major airtime. As for B&M Ive ridden Medusa which is a Floorless very nice ride I must say but I would like a flyer themed to Superman. But I can say right now work wont be getting any coaster soon but will be getting things just cant say right now.

  6. I need to say something too. After 10 years of traveling to International Parks and working at a major one over here I need to say This is DW major downfall the guys above are all correct DW customer service is like a donkey's ass at times. Where DW has more Attractions and Rides then the other parks which is a postive its the staffing side which is appauling. they run 1 op on most rides the staff are in no way as friendly as most at WVTP and WL. I feel the management need to get rid of this costcutting and put more staff on if you go to most parks in the world there are more ops, and cyclone is perfect proof of this. I sometimes wait longer in the queue at DW then I do at Disneyland. also Fright Night sold out at 10:30 am so Dw must of known the day before that they were getting near 3000 so they should have put more staff on.

  7. thanks for the kind comments guys, maybe I will look at the B@M one as my next photoshop. :)posted by Schwarz_freak

you could of made it more life like.
well seeing the only photo of a compact gryo swing was the small one on Drayton manor web site I think it will do seeing as im not entering a art comp just giving a rough guide to what it could look like. posted by Belgian
I thought the ride would be the "big one", not the small Drayton version.
I would love the big version I have a video of the one at PKI in Ohio, USA but I think we will get the compact version. posted by Daniel
    You were bored old son.
only took about 5 mins to be honest getting lots of pratice with my work photos. :)posted by GoBoi
DW looks really quiet in some of those pics. Even Wonderland was busier than that in off season days which is crazy. When were they taken?
Nah what it was is everytime I took a photo I would yell "people there a V.I.P shoot going on please bugger off" but seriously there would have been around 2000 people. I think ive answer all the question Ian :)
  8. Glad to hear they have a new CEO ready to take over and there is no mucking around in the hiring area like some places. I news about Tony was confirmed to me a couple of weeks back at work by by boss a few days after kenny post I just think sometimes it beeter to wait for a press release first like rich has done. well here to more sucess for DW

  9. ^reason being copyrights anything that goes into WBMW must have something to do with Warner Bros or partner movies. I Know the Melbourne office of WVTP talk with the Hollywood owners. and I would say we may select a ride but the copyrights must be approved ect. Thats where say DW or SW have it alot easy with ride names like wipeout ect but WBMW is like Disney it must be themed to a product eg Batman.
