Hello everyone - I'm new here and I came across this forum. I'm very interested in scratch-building models and perhaps one of my favorite rides is the HUSS Condor:

I have some ride-modeling experience from Faller, but honestly, I find their models to be too expensive for me. Plus I enjoy the challenge of building models from scratch.
Anyways I was wondering if anybody knows any technical data about the ride (other than what is on the manufacturer website) - such as schematics, pictures, etc...any help would be greatly appreciated!
Tips work well too...basically I plan on using plastic styrene for the tower and arm assemblies. The vehicles will most likely be fixed in an angular fashion. I don't anticipate on having the assembly rise and descend as in real life - just fixed at the top and use rubber bands to connect linkages.
Just a few questions if anybody has any ideas:
- What is the best way to make gears from scratch?
- Does anybody own the Faller Wave Swinger model? If so, how do they get it to rise and rotate?
