  1. Yeah seriously guys c'mon, it's the past, stop focusing on the past and concentrate on the present. About the cable snapping... WHAT THE! Wouldn't the cable flick back and hit operators and riders? Like you know when an elastic band snaps and comes back and flicks you. And what caused this to snap?

  2. About Bounty's motor, the motor in it was NEVER and i repeat NEVER replaced since opening, the spare motor was still there with the original serial code on it. There was never a problem with the motor so there would be no reason to change it. And DJ, how do we know that you worked there? I'm not saying you don't, I just think it would of been cool to work there.

  3. Nah the ride wont be open any time soon sorry, I know disapointing. The ride is still under construction, not so much the track work, but on the carriages. There has even been planes on dismantaling (not sure if thats how spell it) the ride as it as to unsafe to ride. Hopefully that also is a rumour. I just want to ride to open damn it.

  4. Hi. Yeah i googled :D Rumours are that it has been tested and the carriages have actually derailed and feel 200 metres to the bottom of the cliff, and also test dummies (sand bags) went around the circuit and when it returned there were a fair few bags missing. I think the owners are trying to cover it up because the owners daughter claims she has riden the ride many times and it is safe, and the only reason they havn't opened it is to fix bearings and that for the riders comfort. The owner also claims that all the rumours are NOT true and it has completed the circuit atleast 500 times safely. Go to google images and search Orphan rocker for more information www.smh.com.au/.../2006/01/28/1138319491227.html www.infobluemountains.net.au/rail/ksr/orphan.htm

  5. Why is the Orphan Rocker still not complete or open? From what I have seen it is completed and why wouldn't it be, it's construction was started 15 years ago. Could someone tell me what is going on with that coaster, I'm looking at you Richard for an answer.

  6. I know I have been posting alot lately, and I don't know why, I must be addicted or something. Anyway to the topic, the rapid rides like the one that was at Wonderland and the one at Dreamworld, how on earth do they work? I mean the rapids part, I was reading in a thread somewhere that they re-programed the rapids at Wonderland once. When I was young I just thought there was like a higher bit of concrete in the track the make the water jump over it giving it that rapid look, but after someone said they re-programed it, I'm lost, I mean, u can't re-program concrete.
