  1. He needs a good smack around the head, that will sort the Doc out. But in all seriousness, Doc Brown, every active member on parkz is telling you that your being very immature and writing pointless stupid posts... did you stop to think that maybe you are? We aren't attacking you, we aren't all against you, we are trying to help you out, so just do the part and think about what you write and think about the advice we give you.

  2. Someone on TPR gave a good suggestion of what the ride story could involve. Here it is

, while with the Terminator itself, you think of the "machines", this movie is supposed to be set in a 'post-apocalyptic' world. Well, with a little bit of creative theming, the ride could essentially have risen out of the remains of the scorched earth and could be made to look like the remains of buildings and whatnot. Add an in depth queue line to this, and perhaps a tunnel or two with some Terminator units in them where you are going slow enough to see them, and some sort of ending and this thing could actually be a winner theme, I think.
From goatdan Personally I thought it was a good idea, but what do you think about it, or do you have any other ideas.
  3. Doc Brown stop disrespecting people on what they say. You're just making yourself more and more unwelcomed and needed. Definitely the gremlins I miss at MW. But since this is a topic about favourite rides, well here's my list. Coaster - Tatsu, Rock n Roller, SE, Dueling Dragons (ice), The Riddler and Hulk Dark Ride - Spiderman (IOA), Haunted Mansion (CA), Indiana Jones Flume ride - Wild West Falls, Dudley Do-rights Ripsaw Falls, Jurassic Park (Hollywood) Rapid Ride - Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges, Grizzly River Run Tower Rides - Giant Drop, Big Shot, The twilight zone tower of terror Ferris Wheels - Sun wheel Shows - Police Academy, Lights, motor action!, Traveling Ride - Skywalker Walk thru - Haunted house at USH (forgot the name) Simulator - Back to the Future

  4. Something is re-opening ai? Well I drove past Tomteland the other day and I stopped for a seconds, to my surprise.. the slides had a lot of workers around them, not the mention what looked like they were replacing the ride sign. There also seemed to be more cars parked in the car park than what there usually is too. I thought it was nothing exciting enough to post but it may just be now.

  5. All this plus the fact that their set is slippery as your local fish mongers rubber glove!
It's called slick tires, some have diesel jets around the wheel arches.
Cars that suit that small area
As you said before, there good for rallying when there set up, but don't forget, rallying is in big open sweeping corners. Rice burners have no place in small areas, they require long sweeping bends to actually drift. I think that's what we need, just the small European cars, nothing else, nothing more.
  6. You pay over 200 one way for a ticket :o Ah who on earth are you flying with!!! Even last minute booking isn't that expensive, and if you're only going to be there for two days or one night, why not fly light and just take carry on luggage. We just bought our tickets for flights and got them at $80 return per person. Anyway, I think the prices for SW, WnW and MW are getting a bit ridiculous now, but DW isn't too bad at the moment. I like how they offer a second day at the park at a very low price, and I also like the $15 entry fee to Whitewater World after 3pm. 2 hours there is definitely enough time for me.

  7. I was very relieved to survive Ghost Rider in July last year, it really felt horrible. Never want to have that feeling on a coaster again. Have been on other woodies that actually felt SAFE yet had insane airtime...
Unlucky. Ghost rider was running sweet for me when I went. Ghost rider is just one of my favourite woodies, the first drop is really intense. It was a much smoother ride than what Bush Beast was. Too me I guess a woodie should feel rough, it just seems to suit them rides.
  8. I didn't find the floorless coasters I went on any different. Gazza was there any extra excitement or intensity due to a missing floor when you rode these? I would love to see a woody like many others do.

. Except are they uncomfortable to ride, restraint wise? If so, is it more so for guys?
Nope not at all. If you follow the instructions how to straddle the ride correctly it offers a very fun and exciting ride. Heck I have even see guys just lift there legs and sit on the saddle. Like I said but if you don't follow the instructions then you can get a few pains in your legs as your get further and further into the ride.
  9. Thanks Joz. It doesn't seem that there is much difference in the angle of the banking compared MDMC, although the transition seems shorter. I noticed there seems to be supports very low to the ground (in the first pic), perhaps there might be a water feature around the banked turn? This is going to create an awesome illusion of speed. Can't wait for the finished product.

  10. This issue surfaces again, replacing these 'old school' filming lights just wouldn't fit in with the theme, but hey neither does the 'sail'. Is keeping the lights on ALL day really necessary? I mean it's not as guest's can't see in front of them. Besides, aren't the parks going for a greener look now days, promoting the ways there trying to help the environment. Correct me if I'm wrong as I have no knowledge about it, but wouldn't those lights take a lot to power?

  11. Shouldn't those things been looked into before they even bough the roof? It would seem stupid to purchase this roof, not thinking of the effects and then when its finally up figure out ways to fix the negatives... After seeing these pictures I simply hate it! I personally would of preferred the transparent roof style like at Disney Tokyo, but this doesn't even let sunlight in. Just from the pictures the street seems too closed in, hopefully this is just what it feels/looks from pictures and not what its actually like being there.
