  1. I haven't been to Dreamworld in ages, but I would say: 1. Wild West Falls 2. Bermuda Triangle (this needs more love) 3. Scooby Doo Spoky Coaster 4. Superman Escape 5. Lethal Weapon 6. Giant Drop 7. Thunder River Rapids 8. Loony Tunes River Ride 9. Corkscrew 10. Tower of Terror

  2. I wonder how long it will take for this little secret to appear on Today Tonight. :P I think it would be pretty risky to design a new coaster in Australia, since we only have a handfull of rollercoasters currently, and if the design is a flaw (cough* motocoaster), then you are pretty much screwed.

  3. I wanted to get a Wii for Chrissy but my mum wouldnt let me, even though i said i would pay! But yesterday (boxing day) i finally convinced her and she let me go out and get one, (:)) but it turns out pretty much all of Australia is sold out of Wii's!!! <_< I never knew they were that popular, so i guess I'll have to wait until they come back into stock. In the mean time ill just try to not go insane while i listen to the rest of the world go on about how amazing their Wii's are :P.

  4. If you actually quote the whole sentence you would see that i wasnt saying everyone had to be a gaming nerd, and i wasnt judgign it on just the graphics, But why do they make new consoles if people just want good games? The purpose of new consoles is graphics. If it wasnt then they would just make a PS1 and bring out better games for the next 50 years
The purpose of the PS3 and 360 are for graphics, yes, but what about the Wii? It was designed to be a next step in the evolution of gaming, not to be as grapichally realistic as possible.
The only reason why it is critized is because most of the games are really gay and boring, or only last a week before you get bored of it, or the games are just too childish, most of them without any violence.
Why is it that every game must have some sort of violence in it? Yes, I will admit i do enjoy blowing up and shooting every living thing around me in GTA: San Andreas in my spare time, but this is not what makes games enjoyable. Most of the N64 games didnt have much violence in them at all, and they didnt exactly look realistic (compared to todays games), yet they were still some of the most memorable games i have every played. And about the Wii having no good games? How about Metroid Prime 3, Zelda: Twilight Princess, and of course Super Mario Galaxy.
  5. I like the idea of a Simpsons river rapids ride. Maybe they could theme it to the nuclear power plant and have "acid" green water which the rafts travel along. It would be family friendly, would be indoors (dark ride) as well as outdoors and wouldn't make too much noise. That or replace the Batman simulator with something decent.

  6. Did you ever submit this plan to LPM Gazza? Just been reading through it and it sounds great!! (even though there is no link anywhere to your plan!?) I think you should have a Space Roller in there somewhere, its a fantastic thrill ride and would look really good at Luna Park. Anyone know if Linsday Fox has any plans to redevelope the place anytime soon?

  7. I noticed that the ending will not be a splash-down pool, but rather just and ending like twister. I thought all of probowls just went straight into a pool, unless i am wrong. Is this a world first by any chance (i doubt it). I for one also really like the idea of adding these bowls, i reckon they are just what a waterpark like whitewater world needs. Now bring on the lazy river and dark mammoth!

  8. Hope this helps: Ride layout - Wild-Mouse_2005_layout_1.gif Coaster music - MxPx___Scooby_Doo_Where_Are_You.zip Im not really sure how to make tunnels dark, but you could always just put it into night mode. When I tried to recreate the Scooby Doo Coaster, I used the wild mouse coaster. If you want smoke and lasers, you need soaked expansion pack. If you don't have it, I suggest getting it because the Scooby Doo ride just isn't the same without lasers.

  9. I was reading through some the older posts about WWF and noticed that many people said that the theming at the final drop used to be much better. I know it burned down, but I never had the chance to ride it before then. What kind of special effects were there? Did I miss out on anything? If it used to be better, I really hope Movie World finds the time to rebuild that finale. After all, they have been adding quite a few attractions recently.

  10. It will probably end up looking like Extreme H2o Zone, maybe they got those slide pieces from a non-existent park in Brazil? :P Not that H20 Zone looks bad or anything, I just like the tropical scenery around the other parts of the park. I hope they do bring back the mountain, yet I am stilll happy that those boring slides are gone!

  11. It was decided not long before The Claw was built that future rides were going to be better-themed, hence The Claw having quite an appealing look to it.
If it was decided before The Claw was built that future rides were going to be better themed, then how come the relocation of the Vintage Cars has had almost no thought put into the visual aspect of the ride? From the photos of it, there seems to be almost no theming at all. Maybe you meant they were only going to theme The Claw and that will be enough. I really hope this new coaster has alot of thought put into the theming, or at least doesn't have a car port for a station. http://www.roller-coaster.com.au/gallery.p...182&image=1
