Yup, like riding spiderman 4 times on srq while waiting the normal queue. Any clues on how busy the park gets in the summer ?

Hi, My first year in QLD, and I've already got a MW annual Pass. Can someone tell me about how busy/queue are like at the different times of the year, and days of the week ? What are weekends like now, what's it like in the summer Hols.. don't fancy queuing for 2 hr in mid summer etc. In the UK, you'd just use the single rider queues and because big groups went, you often got on even quicker. Just don't see it happening. There's isn't the people volume for a disney. MW/DW are tiny compared to UK/US parks. Given the cost of new coasters and theming these days, nothing is going to suddenly burst on the scene. Many parks are now focusing on family days out, making there money from food and gift.

Like all coasters, some are good, some are bad.. Classic racing pair coasters are fun. Coasters like Gwazi at busch gardens tampa just give me a headache with the shaking but you can get that one some poor steel coasters like corkscrew at Alton Towers.

Chavs.... am I sensing some poms. Thorpe dropped Single rider from colossus and Nemesis this year, so not so good for us coaster fans who walk straight on because a group of chavs want to stay together. Still can do stealth, but less seats so less chance of a single. Did managed 7 goes in 20mins on rita at alton towers using single rider while the public queued for an hour.^Well, DW would have less chavs. But Thorpe beats out DW pretty well, for me solely on the fact it has a B&M inverted coaster. -
Thorpe was my local park ( 5km) before I came here ;(I was on board for the bird kill in stealth during the TPR trip last year. Was a bizare to see feathers suddenly appearing between the cars. The poor buggers like to sit in between the brake fins because they are nice and warm. -
Used to get a few rollbacks on stealth in the UK, normally early in the morning when the track was wet, and bearings a little cold. http://youtube.com/watch?v=VT7FxqD6WeE But for stealth classics, you need the pigeon strike. They sit on the track, waiting for people to drop food.. Some aren't so bright. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvGZJdgO7g0

So hoping that they would have some sort of combined annual pass on the combined site, but didn't see it. Might only go to sea world/WW once or twice a year, but it would really add value to the pass as I doubt I'd go without it. In the UK, a £95 ( 75 renewal ) , thats $220 gives you unlimited entry to Alton Towers Resort, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventure & Zoo, Madame Tussauds London, Warwick Castle and the British Airways London Eye in the UK and All International Madame Tussauds (New York, Amsterdam, Las Vegas, Shanghai & Hong Kong), Portaventura, Parc Asterix and Heide Park. And that is really a no brainer for a coaster fan.

Dark Knight theme inside coaster based on Rock'n'Roller Coaster. Its needs to be dark, loud and fast.

Expect they'll follow the rest of the world and get premium queue jump tickets for an extra $10 per ticket if the queues ever got big. SRQ are good in holiday periods, when you have big school parties etc ( UK chav group ) , and you can normally get on any ride in 10 mins rather than 1 hr.
