  1. Maintenance Is a thing i sometimes dont always trust after rideaccidents.com But also lethal weapon looks very intense just from the observation area Its weird how i can ride superman, wild west and scooby-doo but can't ride lethal because im too scared

  2. ^ The California screamin' looks like an intense coaster, but the music just doesnt do anything for me, imagine superman escape with a song playing, i wouldnt be focusing on the song, but thats just personally. Maybe like scooby-doo spooky coaster's disco part of the ride, which gives the ride a more exciting feel because it is inside a disco, but if a roller-coaster was outside with music playing, it would be like scooby-doo spooky-coaster with no building. I like your idea but I love it if it would be indoors for the entire ride,

  3. As Pauline Hanson-esque as this sounds - apart from sending them all back to the country we know they all came from, nothing will stop these people and their antisocial behaviour. Police are scared ****less of them so what other options are there ?
Time out in the naughty corner :o
  4. that would be bad for the following: -jobs and getting paid -if someone has a scheduled appointment or a interview or somthing like just taking time off for that 1 moment -the animals -something could happen to someones favourite ride or something -construction or fixing a ride or setting up for one (who knows they might even be bringing back nightmares or someting soon (hopefully)) -somethig importaint might be happening at that time but then they will haveto ecacuate -unseen ride damages -etc :o:huh::(
Going by what Joz is saying, Yes the staff will panic and worry. But they will not show this, Recently working at Movie World there fire training was very informative. It was brief but it focused on the main points: What to do in the event of an Evacuation (Remain Calm, and Get staff and patrons out via the quickest safe route) Fire Extinguisher usage and all the other general stuff. I would presume that Dreamworld / WhiteWater World would have similar training practices available. So the staff would know what to do in the event of an Evacuation. And as it has been previously mentioned, Dreamworld staff have to have a refresher course every year and it is also part of COMPULSORY company induction. Also never seeing a mass evacuation before, I can't judge on how promptly they could evacuate the whole property, but it would be quicker than a standard "Home Time" procedure. But one thing that would take some time to do and would be VERY risky, is the animals. Now back in 2003 when there was the Canberra bush fires (which I was there for) They had to evacuate the National Zoo / Aquarium, and I have NO idea what they did with the animals. There is no way they would have been left there as the whole parkway (main road) going past there was completely closed off. So that would raise another interesting point with evacuating the park.
you were just going into even more detail then what i just put up at the top
    ^That made no sense whatsoever
i think thats what he meant not sure
  5. and as a part of the tour they 1. walk you threw the superman subway and you can take as many pictures as you want and then show you the launch pad and the room where the hydraulic thing is. 2. turn off the special effects on the scooby doo and show you the track. 3. walk you threw the wild west. and 4 this will never happen
    1. Movieworld don't allow pictures of things like this, this happened with one of the membrs here who worked as a maintenance guy, he took pics of it and got into trouble 2. What about the people on the ride? 3. How will they do that 4. I know
  6. Yeah you guys can laugh all you want My mail is the big wigs from both Cedar Fair and Six Flags heard about Dreamworlds 6th thrill ride and flew immediately out here to check the thing. They were so impressed with the sheer speed, height and overall thrilling experience they quickly contacted Intamin to order one of these masterpieces. Now it will be a race to see who can open theirs first. I guess it will take some heat of the unbearably long ques at such rides as Millenium Force and Top Thrill.
Sorry if its not a rumour but thats so stupid and i hope it is a rumour
  7. I have recieved some tickets to Warner Bros. Movie World or Sea World. Our family has decided to visit Movie World becasue my grand father has never been and we want to show him the stunt show before its gone!!! We have decided to go first sunday of the Queensland Easter holidays 6/04/08. I have two questions: 1. How busy will the park be for a day in the holidays, as we wish to go on all the rides and still have re-rides? 2. Will Police Academy Stunt show still be open? Thank-you!!!
1.I went on the long Christmas holidays and they had to block off the scooby-doo queue and it took 1 hour and a half to get on wild west falls Im not sure if its the same for a shorter easter holiday so dont blame me if im wrong 2.Yes im pretty sure it is, the latest rumour for this is that the last show will be on 1st of may, so your pretty safe
Hi Just wondering My parents, sibblings and I are going to Movieworld on the Friday just before the Holidays start. Would it be very Busy.
I dont know what times the rest of australia have for their holidays, if it starts 1 week earlier or anything, but if it was just before queensland school holidays then no it wouldnt be busy, but if the rest of australia has their holidays one week before than yes it would be, someone please clarify this
  8. If six flags is getting the motocoaster it will be the ending of the themepark industry as we know it :o
  9. But I love batman adventure ride 2! The plot, the mansion! Guests and tourists who are new to the park love this ride and Batman (and superman) is the main Warner Brothers theme and it would be a shame for this good attraction to go! It blends in well with everything else Transformers ride, for me would only be good in a roller-coaster type theme with a pre-themed ride sequence, it deserved a way better ride type and technology :D
