I agree about the gun attachment, if you want a gun just go to the local shop around the corner (cap gun of course) lol. I dont think you should get your wii chipped, voids the warranty and everything, its your choice to waste 400 dollars though not my fault if you do itYer, I've heard many people say that Super Mario Galaxy is a really good game. Ohh, before I go on I got a Wii for Christmas around 2 weeks ago. I LOVE IT!!! When it first came out I thought it was just another gimmick, but I started to see what it really could achieve. No money wasted, I can assure you! The first games I have got are WiiPlay, WiiSports and Metroid Prime Hunters 3: Corruption! (WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMEND). Anyway, I think I'll be hooking it up to the internet very soon, but with a wired connection, I still have to buy the adapter for it, but I will get it. In the mean time, I'm getting my Wii chipped. I know, I know, people say that it's not good for the console, and it will slowly damage it over time. I think it's a load of BS!!! So by Saturday I should be getting Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Mario Galaxy and Mario Charged Strikers. They should be good, they all include original characters from Nintendo and Sega!
Has anybody got these games??
Another thing that I'm curious about, is when this topic was started people were swapping some time of number code that people called ID's or something along those lines. Sorry, but if somebody could help me out with this one, it would be greatly appreciated!! Oh, and is there a way I can add people to my Wii console, so that when I go online I can play games against them, e.g. MArio Charged Strikers Football??
Games that I'm looking forward to playing on the Wii, would by Ghost Squad GHOST SQUAD and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (I think everybody knows what Super Smash Bros is!!). If you don't know Ghost Squad is an arcade Light gun game (very simular to Time Crisis) where you are moved around by the computer and all you do is shoot the baddies! I love these games, and the best thing is that I don't have to buy a seperate gun attachment to play it. The bad thing about that is the only "gun attachment" for the Wii remote in Australia is the Zapper. I don't like the look, if it's for gun games then shouldn't it look like a gun/pistol?? 
. I asked a worker at EBgames if any other third party company is going to bring out a gun attachment, and he said no!!! 
. He said that because PAL is trying to make the Wii look like a very family oriented console and not showing bad examples for younger children!! WTF??? What about game like Resident Evil:4 and Umbrella Chronicles!!???
NOT HAPPY!! This is what I was hoping to be brought to Australian shores Nyko Perfect Shot. Really does this look that bad to you?? It's not like it has army colours all over it and it makes loud noises. LOL, you can buy worse looking guns at your local $2 shop!!
If anybody can sheed some light on my post, especially the questions, that would be greatly appreciated!! 
CoAsTeRbOy8. Super Smash Bros. is what I cant wait to come out, so excited, it also includes Nintendo Wi-fi for online battles. So will Mario Kart Wii.

I voted for new Thrill ride and Water ride as my first 2 preferences at movieworld, Stunt show being last, as i do not like stunt shows that much. In wet'n'wild i voted New thrill ride as my number 1 preference! I hope enough people vote this so they will change their minds about replacing that poor police acadamey stunt show What did you vote?

And how are we supposed to predict that? we don't know what they are thinking. Going by what has been coming from a few sources, I think a new coaster could be coming sooner rather than later personally.
It seems like you don't wan't people to talk about anything. So what if nobody important reads this? We have things such as the 'Letters' page in newspapers, Talkback radio etc where people say what they think irrespective of who is listening. How is this any different? Sometimes it is interesting to exchange ideas between ourselves.
How can YOU say that with certainty? They would just build whatever they see as fit for the park.

In 2 years time as you say, Superman will be 4 years old. Thats a long time between drinks considering the rate they have been building coasters in the past few years.
Again, going by past precedent, a flat ride is actually pretty unlikely...it doesn't particularly fit into the flow of the park...and on all the WVTP properties how many full sized flat rides are there? Just two. Its not something they make a habit of installing.

Im pretty sure its just rebuilding that stingray ride which is the worst rideI have recently found out that Dreamworld is or has planed for a new childrens ride for the theme park, I am unsure if this is the stingray rebuilt they a refering to or if this is a totaly new ride. -

He means the park in general, with the installation of Motocoaster and a few fix-ups around the park going onHow can increasing the speed by a little on the TOT be? “updating everything”. -
Vii 2 is coming out soon, the controllers look a bit different to the original vii design and the console look sa bit different, Also in the hardware discovery of the vii, the only thing running the system is a chip thats 1/4 the size of a motherboard!

First of all welcome to the forum! There are discounts with RACQ, 10% off entry price. Thats all i am aware of, try ringing up seaworld or looking through the newspapers, my friend said that in the sunday mail there is a 20 dollar discount or something towards admission prices. Do not ebay price discounts Im sure other members will post here when they find a discount

but Movieworld is a must too, they have all the greatest attractions and moviestars, plus the craziest thrill rides So yeah Movieworld, dreamworld, seaworld is a MUST but seaworld is boring if you dont take the time to see all the shows, may i reccomend Imagine (the supposidly new dolphin show which was there 3 years ago), polar bears and all the other ones, and all the rides thereI have heard that a larger friend of mine was not able to ride Superman Escape, but he is extremely large. If you're worried, why not call the theme parks and ask? They'll be able to tell you the specific rides where size may be a problem. I'd recommend Dreamworld and Seaworld. They both have enough to keep the family entertained even if you don't get to go on all the rides. -
I think that the main ride to watch out for is Scooby-doo spooky coaster: If you had trouble getting on previous rides, do not even bother, you will embarass yourself of everyone. queues up to 1 and a half hours on this ride. Make sure your kids ride this atleast once, best indoor ride there is. But you wont beable to watch your kids, its fully indoor. Make sure you get to this ride AS SOON as movieworld opens as queues can easily get up to 2 hours. The scooby-doo spooky coaster uses lap-bars and its a very tight fit sometimes

People do buy Consoles for the graphics, but what they pay for the console itself they should be getting a wide range of good games. If they know that they arent going to get the games that are worth the money of the console, then dont buy the console EDIT- MAde it make sense

You cant deny that they only made new consoles for the graphics. But i guess gazzas right, they did upgrade it for the processor and new technology. Sonic, If you like blood and gore i wouldnt suggest a Wii, and i wouldnt get a PS3 because at the moment its sales arent very promising compared to the other 2 consoles, so maybe the games will be discountinued along with bluray, you never know.

But thats only one console out of like 7 consoles that actually made a new way of playing, like i said, you said games arent about the graphics, then why the need for all these new consoles without a revolutionary way of playing them. I agree the nintendo 64 games were the most memorable, they need to make more like those ;D 3 games that are the only good ones out there for the Wii, and how long has it been out for again?The purpose of the PS3 and 360 are for graphics, yes, but what about the Wii? It was designed to be a next step in the evolution of gaming, not to be as grapichally realistic as possible. Why is it that every game must have some sort of violence in it? Yes, I will admit i do enjoy blowing up and shooting every living thing around me in GTA: San Andreas in my spare time, but this is not what makes games enjoyable. Most of the N64 games didnt have much violence in them at all, and they didnt exactly look realistic (compared to todays games), yet they were still some of the most memorable games i have every played. And about the Wii having no good games? How about Metroid Prime 3, Zelda: Twilight Princess, and of course Super Mario Galaxy. -

I know alot about the wii, 6 months before it even came out i was obsessed in it, when it came out i asked EVERYONE!!!!! And i played it at my friends house. Ok heres why people like it: The controls, Your using your own hand movements to control the screen, not buttons, so its more interactive and fun. Why they dont like it: The only reason why it is critized is because most of the games are really gay and boring, or only last a week before you get bored of it, or the games are just too childish, most of them without any violence. Some find the controls strange, being use to the dualshock controls of the Ps2 or Xbox. it takes time to get use to the controls If you dont care about game quality (like most of the games out now for it) and more about interaction with games, then get a Wii If you care about great long-lasting games with better graphics, get a Xbox 360 I gathered this information through the use of a years Nsider forums (now its closed down) With the Nintendo Wii, the games just dont compete with the xbox 360 at the moment, some of the best and long-lasting games out now are only avaible onthe 360 like halo 3 or gears of war.

If you actually quote the whole sentence you would see that i wasnt saying everyone had to be a gaming nerd, and i wasnt judgign it on just the graphics, But why do they make new consoles if people just want good games? The purpose of new consoles is graphics. Thats no the point i was getting at, I said if you like the Xbox 360 exclusive games and you are a gaming nerd you would like the 360 i didnt say that everyone was And yes im a gaming nerdActually, I have an Xbox 360 and I don't consider myself a "real big gaming nerd". Mind you, I don't play it that often, but graphics aren't the only reason people buy these gaming consoles. I personally couldn't care less whether I was playing RCT3 on my shotty laptop or Top Spin Tennis on my Xbox 360. It's the fun of the game that most people would buy the console for. I think a narrow minded viewpoint on people who play computer games of the like is one of the reasons why we have judging and labeling in society. There are thousands of people - if not millions - out there like me who got an Xbox 360 for a rainy day, when they were bored or simply because they saw a TV advertisement. By the way PixelPushed, are you in a position to judge the three consoles if you don't own them all? Or are you simply a self confessed "real big gaming nerd" yourself?
After reading about 15 reviews on each console and some of the most famous games on each one i gathered the information to make judgements
