  1. I dont want another coaster, I think that movieworld is missing one of the most important aspects of Warner brothers movies, Harry Potter! they need to make an excellent ride like scooby-doo for it, it is one of the most read books and watched movies.

  2. ^Well, that's your choice then, just don't expect me to take people seriously when they just blurt stuff out, and then aren't willing to stand by what they say and back up what they are saying, instead opting for that weak "well, its my opinion, that makes me untouchable" argument.
You always try to put down or whine if someone has a different opinion to you.
  3. Why??? Are you anti progress? Would having a hotel next door stop people from doing what you said? SW has a hotel next door, but that doesn't stop people visiting for the day with their family. Are you saying having other facilites next door would somehow make MW less fun  The whole idea of what I was saying is only to help the company be more successful, make more money, have a greater presence and draw more guests. It would actually allow families to stay together more. Think about it, rather than just having a day at the park together, you could then go on and have dinner together, or see a movie together, or stay in a family room at a hotel together. Sorry, but it annoys me when people say stupid things.
just because you dont agree with what i said doesnt mean its stupid, its just an australian themepark I dont care if they have accomadation, you want accomadation go to seaworld resort
  4. I would hope you don't own an MP3 player (or have iTunes installed) or a VCR as that would be hypocritical.
I agree, It would be hippocritical and also if he had limewire installed, im sure that would be just as bad as photo copyright, its the same thing
  5. What is movieworld supposed to do on a crowded night? if the wait was 1 hour and a half for all the rides, they cant just go "make the queues shorter" so i dont see the point of everyone complaining. It was a halloween night, like Ian said, Go on a day not a special event. I do agree that they should of had Wild West Falls on, But they have to do maintenance or the ride would be very unreliable, they werent expecting everyone to go just for the rides anyway It took me 1 hour and a half to get on Superman escape, But you dont see me complaining. But lucky i rushed to scooby-doo as soon as the park opened and it was only a 20minute wait.

  6. Just needed to make some points here to a few comments above. (1) Halloween is a Halloween Event at night and features some great characters, and 4 shows this year plus the fright zone, and people that payed for that entertainment went home happy. (thats why we read our park maps at the gates folks to know whats going on, you cant watch a show if you are in the superman line). (2) If you complain you waited to long for a ride then you dont understand the concept of special themed events if you payed $20 to just ride rides you would have been better just going on a day instead of this event. Thats why when I go to universal each year during Halloween I ride the Mummy coaster in the day as I know at night the line will get up to 2 hours at least, I guess its just common sense. (3) The crowds were big each night and park mangement should be congratulated for capping the event to a certain figure each night, I felt alot more comfortable then the big crowd I experienced in Orlando this year. (4) The fright zone was really good I actually enjoy it more then a couple of house I went through at Universal, yes its short (leathal weapon alley) but each year it will grow in size with new ideas as it gets bigger and bigger. The talent also looked great with Leatherface and his female victim and the chainsaw charging at the guest was great, there were actually a few guest running back to the entrance to get away which was great to watch. Freddy, Mike Myers and burns victim were great as well. Anyway the 3 nights were a huge succes with the general public and media and each year as October in Australia gets more and more halloween feel to it this event is just going to keep on expanding in more postive ways then ever.
couldnt of said it better myself and i saw you at movieworld so many times :o
  7. ^That doesn't count as theming, theming is: What you are talking about is landscaping, and landscaping is: I think its a given a flying coaster would be set up like this if one were built, MW has good viewing areas for it's rides and they do a good job at making things look nice. One thing to be careful of is not making the flying coaster have too many sections close to the ground, or all it becomes is just a whole lot of watching grass whiz by at high speed. It is far cooler to be a bit higher up, to really give the feeling of being in flight. One feature I think that would be nice would be ponds below parts of the ride, so you can look down at your reflection, in effect its like a mirror which creates a feeling of greater space, making it feel like you are higher than you really are.

  8. < text on screen in Matrix style> "In 2003, people asked, 'what is the Matrix?' In 2009, experience it for yourself" <Cut to footage of the ride in action with plenty of cool camera angles> "The Matrix: Flight of Neo, Australias first FLYING roller coaster!" <focus camera on the expressions of a group of riders> "Only at Warner Bros. Movie World"
one word: LOL. no offence or anything
  9. Movieworld during halloween night - 30th october 5:45pm-10:00pm (yes the rides were still operating till 10 o.O) The fogs and the lights around movieworld were really awesome and huge spotlights shined on superman escape, anyway. After we got into the park we went straight to scooby-doo spooky coaster which had a 15minute wait already, after scooby-doo the lines were 2 hours for it again, so we didnt bother, and after finding out wild west falls was closed, we had to go to warner bros. kids and we went on a few rides there. THEN I BUILT UP ENOUGH COURAGE TO GO ON MY FIRST EVER BIG ROLLER COASTER- the superman escape, AT NIGHT TIME OMG OMG no. ok so i went on it with my friend but we were waiting 1 hour and a half for the queues regardless of the 2 trains operating and we were just freaking out so much then when we actually got on, the pre-show was soo cool and then the launch was just an awesome experience, i just remember going up and down the first big top hat in semi-darkness and it was the best experience of my life and i just want to go on it again and again. Anyway the entertainment was very well done and lthough it was kinda cheesy in some ways it built up the atmosphere. BTW my friend lost her 300 dollar phone at the front of superman escape and we couldn't find it, someone stole it so it ruined my night but anyway i hope you guys have fun when you go.

  10. On tuesday is the first halloween night but it has a forecast for Isolated raining and storming with a high humidity. Do you think that movieworld is a bit greedy taking everyones money and then locking up all the good rides such as Superman escape and batwing spaceshot and then also doing maintenance during the Movieworld halloween nights on wild west falls? elaborate plz ;)

  11. Warner Village Theme Parks is planing to open two new Australian firsts at both Sea World and Warner Bros. Movie World, but as a result, closing a Movie World icon. Movie World will be ditching the iconic Police Academy stunt show to make way for the Hot Wheels show, including many car stunts similar to the show already operating. The new show will cost Warner Village around seven million dollars and will be replacing the old stunt show, Police Academy which has been at Movie World since it opened in 1992. Police Academy is one of Movie World's only original attractions still operating. Batman Adventure is the only other original attraction still operating from the parks' opening. The Police Acadey show also recently won the award for the longest running theme park show worldwide. Sea World is also planing to introduce hippos to their park, setting back Warner Village around five million dollars. The hippos will be built a new home with temperature controlled environments and large pools. Both attractions are set to open in the middle 2009.
