Yeah Agreed. I believe another word is "Yobbo" Screammachinethere's also an abundance of 'bogans of the beaches' -
Yeah I believe they do. I saw a Lavazza Coffee Stand outside the Popcorn Place (Next to Ferris Wheel).. But I prefer Flat White! Screammachine...

Mmmmmmmmmmm........ Muffin's!!! Love Muffins. Especially Chocolate & Blue Berry...... Screammachine..

I'd have to say my favourite park of the park is Ocean Parade. Simply because Wipeout is over there. Second runner up is Nick Central. I know, I know i'm to old for that area, but I like the look and atmosphere.. lol Screammachine

First off... Very good Trip Report Shifty! What you said about the spin and spew is VERY correct. I saw two chicks spew when they got off the UFO. My head didnt feel to good afterwards though... And hey I live on the Northern Beaches too!! GoBoi
Well the people on the Northern Beaches are known to be snobby! I dont deny that. I think the whole coffee remark is quite true. There is about a Zillion coffee shops. But what annoys me are those New Age Parents that are like " Oh yes, Can I have a Flat White with soy milk please? Steamed, not poured. And can my little sweety here get a Babychino. Same milk for her too." I say that cause i'v worked in a cafe'. But in all, I prefer tea too coffee. ScreammachineBy the way I do live on the North Shore and have never had a latte in my life. -
Most Probably the only Swing in the Southern Hemisphere!!... Hehehe ScreammachineDreamworld will market it as such, "Tallest Gyro Swing in the Southern Hemisphere!", which is my ownly real gripe at this stage, and obviously it wouldn't be an issue until after the ride's marketing kicks off. -
Welcome to the Forums Disneyland... Thats a pretty shocker of a pay rate! I'd say pay them on different rates depending on their age.. I personaly think its a bit rediculous paying someone more after they'd been there for six months.... Well thats my opinion.. Screammachine

Ton "O Fun..... Mmmmm. The name itself does not speak for the name. When I was up camping in Foster a few years back (about 3), we went there with a group of people. My opinion, not too bad for a country town park, but can do much better. I cant remember the name of the park, but there was one about 30mins north of Ton O Fun, which wasnt to bad either. It had some pretty good water slides. And a good Toboggan ride aswell... Hahaha. And the photo's look hectic 70's!! Even the kids have mullets! Screammachine

When I was in London with my parents a few years back we went on the London Eye. Its a well worth ride! It takes a while to do the whole swing but its well worth the value. Its got a great view of popular touristy sites in London. Another must visit is all the maccas in London! There is seriously about a 100 of them in one street. I'l try and scan in the Underground map to give you guys a idea... Screammachine

Hello Everyone! I'm heading to the Dubbo show this weekend. I have my boots and cowboy hat in my bag! LOL I remember a while back a mate telling me about the show and saying that its like a miniture "Eastershow". And on the same note there is some flat rides there aswell.... Can anyone clarify, or maybe give me some info. If, so there is rides it might be worth while taking my camera! Cheers Screammachine

Yeah Its quite Shocking news actually! I read on RCT Depot last night. Another interesting article is one of a girl falling to her death at a Perrilous Plunge Type world In Wales Somewhere. I'l find the link to it and put it in here. Screammachine

Yeah I agree, That did sound a bit cheesy. Its like as if the Brady Bunch recorded it! Has anyone (sydney siders) been listening to Nova Lately? They'v got a few of these adds goin on.... All advertising a ride in general. And they all sound very "happy" lol... Screammachine

It looks pretty good rabid! You should have made one of construction happening at Wonderland. When the wild rumours were running around about rides being constructed! Hehehe... Imagen all the rumble it would have caused Screammachine

As Scharwz said the slide is made of wood. But its not a vertical slide. The first point of drop is just really steep. When you sit on the platform before you slide down, you legs litterally hang in mid air. (You guys should know what I mean ) Gazza I know what you talking about its allot of fun. When I was back in school we went to a "summer camp" place that had one similar to those. Sorry Schawrz I dont have any photo's of the new LPS. My digital camera doesnt seem to like me that much. I'm getting it fixed up so it would actually take photo's...... Gazza to answe your questions about the prices. Here Is a price list I got from the Park..... Rotor: Red Luna's Carousel: Blue Luna's Ferris Wheel: Blue Luna's UFO: Red Luna's Slides: Yellow Luna's Giant Slide: Yellow Luna's Magic Castle: Green Luna's Green rides: 3 lunas Blue rides: 5 lunas Red rides: 6 lunas Its not the whole Rides List. But is should give you guys a fair idea about what the prices are.... It costs about $3 for three Luna's. Or you can buy a wristband for $35 (which is what me and my mates did). And you can go on as much rides and as many times as you like. Its more the money's worth than buying lunas.. ScreammachineIs the Ski Slope Slide one of those things where you hang of a bar wearing a low friction suit and let go?(Like at Questacon in Canberra) Those things are really fun, and you never seem to get bored (There was one at School camp, so I was spending my free time there) -
If you'd say Cyclone (when it was Big Dipper) I'd go for the Old Version at LPS. Simply cause of the Scenery goin past the buildings and atmosphere giving it that tight feel. My vote goes for the Demon.... Screammachine

I think by June/July the park would 'hopefully' be finished with all construction and be up and running at full pace! I would say they'd have a really busy Holiday Season (December) This year. Its got a great location and its free entry! The best ride there by far is the Ski Slope Slide!!! Its sooo hectic. It like you almost drop 90'. But its not 90" before people jump on me... Its just a very steep drop your feet hang down just before you plummet a few meters! Good fun though a must go! Screammachine

Goboi-
My Quote...The 'indian' building you referred to is not actually new. It is the old entrance for the 1995 Big Dipper... just with some bits missing including the tops of the spires.
Well I knew that building was old. I was just pointing out the 'memorial' paintings of the Big Dipper it had in it.... And i'm so sorry If i took the limelight of your long "walkthrough" post of Luna Park! Just thought i'd give my opinion. Well I think the park lost its character. The ferry floss stands, The smell of Pluto Pops etc.... ScreammachineThere is some sort of Indian looking building where the old big Dippers Entrance was

Hello All... Who of you guys are talented in creating breathtaking parks in RCT2??? Well for those who want to share their work I thought we can open our own Park Exchange!! I'm currently working on a park called. Adventure Park..... It concists of 4 sections which are: Greater West, Port Carrabian, Forbidden Valley & Adventure City...... Below is a screenshot I took in the early stages of the construction... Its located in the Greater West part of the park. It looks allot different now.. To the left is a Show Arena, Right of it is the Double Level Carousel, And Top Left is the Food Area.... Would like to know what you guys think........
